Ok, so according to you 2 I don't know how a capacitor works. I need to go to school, and I don't know electrical.

So then please explain to me how a capacitor works.

You both are so damn sure in yourselves that YOU know better than me.

So explain it to me. Tell me how one works. I already know how it works, but YOU guys tell me. Don't tell me to google it, you tell me in your words how a goddam capacitor works.

Because they suck and they're expensive and charge things slowly in comparison and they support the petroleum industry

You sir are a genius, you don’t need any input, good night.

Does a capacitor normally require 3, 4, or 5 wires?

You don't even know how many connections there are for a capacitor!

Here is a free piece of information for you.

The answer is 2.

You pass

Now, how many of those terminals can you jump power off of?

AKA I don't know anything.

I'll gladly school you for free, or answer any questions you have regarding my knowledge for free too.

Nice cop-out

You can jump the discharge side of a cap to provide supply voltage?

I sure hope you don't play with electricity in real life.

What type of capacitor are you wanting to discuss.

Please pick one from the list provided.

Capacitors

Then ... Do some reading!

You can jump the discharge side of a cap

The what side? Lol.

Pick any from the list yourself, then i can educate you on how they work. (Hint they all pretty much work the same!)

Like I said in the other thread I’m giving dude benefit of the doubt in assuming he’s a troll and not that “special”.

I'm amazed. This forum has become stupid.

A capacitor is a capacitor. It servers one purpose.

You guys amaze me how much ignorance can bind you to a mindset.

I provided a link!

You did not read the link.

I am not the ignorant fool!

What does a capacitor do in a crossover circuit.

What is a snubbing capacitor?

What is an electrolytic capacitor?

Why are tantalum capacitors used and what for?

If they are all the same, why have so many different types?

Keep typing though, everyone is watching and forming opinions.
