There is a stay in place directive, which means evacuation is no longer possible and affected residents must hunker down and hope their anti fire strategies work out.

Thoughts and prayers for those affected and their animals.

ETA. How weird is our climate these days !

i hope you are not in the Salt Ash area where people have been advised to seek shelter as it is too late to leave

we had many storms lately in queensland. today though was only rainy and so beautifully cool, it made a cozy morning. terrible to think others are threatened.

if you should be 10 ks from salt ash, what are your plans? stay safe !! wish i could say something helpful and comforting

As I mentioned, worst case we go over the road to the beach.

One road in and out as I am on a peninsular.

The wind is blowing our way, so Rural Fire Service is hopefully our saviour !

The dragons do the navigation and their sense of direction and velocity is uncanny. Not much slows them down either. They prefer warmer climates and find Canada too cold for their liking.
