The boyfriend said that she is not political, but always wanted attention. He also made her out to be a nut job. He said he and his family had to change their numbers after they broke up.
He said she threatened his wife and unborn child.

Hang on - the story is now she saw Kavanaugh laughing in a group of boys and also saw him handing out cups for punch???
Didn't she say SHE was raped in her first statement and the creepy porn lawyer said they had several corroborating witnesses!
Creepy porn lawyer has a lot to answer for.

When she asked Swetnick if Judge or Kavanaugh spiked the punch, as claimed in her statement, Swetnick says, "Well, I saw him giving red cups to quite a few girls during that time frame. ... I saw him around the punch containers. I don’t know what he did. But I saw him by them, yes."
This might be a minor thing, but does anyone remember those red plastic disposable cups at parties back in the early 80s?
I sure don't. I always see them in the movies when depicting high school or college parties, they've almost become a trope of their own. But certainly where I grew up they were never a thing back then. I thought they were a more recent thing.
Does anyone else recall?
Beer pong cups.
Only seen them in movies, personally.
Come to think of it, I don't recall what color or kind of beer cups we used back then.
Seems like trivia to remember.
My guess is if they were popular when she claims these rapes happened, they would be in movies of the times....likely before these times.

if this were the 80's then the drug of choice would have been lemons.
everyone would have been #ed up
would have been a great time
but seriously if this was 80-85 ish it would not have been rohypnol
would have been methqualone aka quaaludes aka lemons
definitely what these rich kids would have had
that shouldnt be too hard to find out in an FBI investigation

Hand out the punch, or stand by the keg, gatentees that you can talk to every girl there and see if any like you.
That’s why this man finished at top of his class...

Hard to do when the witness puts you standing in the gangrape line in the hallway.
I'd think if you were the one going to the trouble of spiking their drinks, youd probably be the first one in.

Well, I looked into it. There seems to be quite a history with the red cups. I do note this excerpt, however, which kind of reinforces my thoughts on it being a reasonably recent phenomenon:
Modern partiers may simply be copying what they had seen at the movies—the 1999 romp American Pie is credited for being the first movie to portray red cups as a staple of American parties.
That's actually the movie I was thinking of in terms of kick starting the movie trope. Didn't realise it was all the way back in 1999. Don't I feel old now...
As you were, everyone...
