They all have the choice of using the attorney or questioning directly. I think the GOP will mostly use the attorney and Dems will mostly direct question.

There was just the predictable talking head lefty chick on FOX who was saying something to the effect of "If you're Kavanaugh, wouldn't you *want* these accusations investigated to prove your innocence?"

And Brit Hume is like "What's there to investigate in an anonymous letter with no address or name or time or date?!"

Brit hume was spot on in his statements just now.

They were discussing the 4th accusation, which for those that missed it, were sent by post with no return address, no name, no details whatseover.

This is something that any teenager could do with total impunity as a hoax. There is not even a name, so there is nothing to investigate.

And the woman on the panel says the conformation should be put on hild to investigate any allegation.

Hume was incredulous and asked if she was serious, that we have to grind everything to a halt anytime any anonymous letter with no details alleges anything? She ssays yes.

Thats where we are at.

As this circus begins, all I can think about is how low politics has sunk. Senators used to have some decorum and comportment, but so many of them, especially Democrats, are nothing but camera hounds. We should start handing out awards for Best Actor/Actress in a Drama.

If she doesn't show - its a lie and she didn't want to put her face to it.

If she does show - its anyone's game - but the fact the dems sat on it during questioning and didn't raise it, the fact she had a lie detector test before it became public (and breaking news she was only asked 2 questions) says to me this was a hit job from the beginning

judging from the democrats this past 18 months - i wouldn't put it past them.

I've heard the same from someone in a position to know.... That it won't be what we think... That anything can happen and not to be surprised if arrests are made.
