Probably prepping/groundwork for an immediate vote sometime next week.

I am so tired of the words "deemed credible" as if they mean the same as "proven in a court of law."

The two sleazy looking attorneys for Ford stated they were working pro bono having earlier saying the attorney pays for the lie-detector test. Add up all expenses hotels/meals/travel etc and they gave all this out of the goodness of their little balack hearts.

Then afterwards we see SJL hand Ford's attorney an envelope in such a way to look like a dope deal.

did she ever say when she went to the bathroom in this entire scenario? I know she drank a beer, then had to use the bathroom, never made it to the bathroom, was attacked, then left the house, when did she pee? that is the part of the story I would need to fill in to really believe her.

It means that they will do an up or down vote to begin the process. Then Senators that weren't on the Committee can speak to it. It isn't the actual vote yet. They will spend the time in between trying to sway each other.

You are welcome. Yes, the FBI investigation will still go forward. I think as soon as McConnell knows he has 50 guaranteed votes he will call a Full Senate Vote. It isn't even required that they wait for the FBI to return the investigation. But because Flake and his team of a several other Senators are claiming they will not vote Yes without the one week investigation then they are placating them until they promise a yes. Flake has already said if a week passes and nothing, which he said he doesn't expect to take longer than a week, then he will vote Yes.
