I also happen to think that, given how forcefully they've been defending Kavanaugh this week, the GOP knows more than they're letting on. I think they've got an ace up their sleeve.

Notes just released from the Senate Judiciary Committee that say the committee interviewed a man who submitted a statement that he believes that he, and not Kavanaugh, is the man that Ford remembers from the incident.
No corroboration yet of that, just the report from Fox News that said the committee had interviewed this man not once but twice.

This is true. Grassley may have scheduled him to appear in person, or via SKYPE, to testify and apologize.
