it ends when it ends, or it has already ended... "q" is never going to end, tomorrow "q" could come out with a post explaining how everything was an elaborate hoax, and his followers would believe it was deep-state compromised, that the "cabal" has gotten to "q" and patriots need to fight harder for "truth"

I would expect that as "q" continues to fail his believers would start believing less and realising all the spin, and false information, though I believe deep-down they will always have "q" hope

What I quoted specifically said "make punishable any act done or omitted prior to the date of this order". Not just apply old sentencing guidelines but actually make the acts punishable.

There is nothing there that would make the usual suspects punishable under the EO. I have yet to find anyone who can point out where the EO makes it possible for military courts to judge civilians.

It's very undecided law.

Many terror related cases have had debate about which system to use and different reasons supporting each.

It's pretty open though, perhaps something the supreme court will decide.

The point isn't what has or has not been decided but what this specific EO provides. It does not give jurisdiction to military courts to view civilian cases.

I'm simply asking what part of this EO makes people believe that it gives the military the right to arrest, charge try and sentence anyone not already subject to military law?

If there isn't anything then this is just another shift in goalposts to keep hope alive.

Well I am certain Trump had a reason for writing the order.

Not to just "create hope".

We will just have to wait and see .

I think the question becomes not can civilians be tried in a military court.

Instead what defines a civilian when dealing with treasonous acts against the USA.

When someone is working against the interest of the country to benefit a foriegn power they start being viewed as a spy, not a civilian anymore.

Ask yourself why in a blacked out van would she be visibly in the front seat, why not hide her in the back? In any one of the possible scenarios that would seem most logical. Seems ceremonious.
