Baby dinosaurs on Noah's Ark

So is there some rule that states everything in ancient texts must be taken as a literal account? I must have missed that one.....

I'll be sure to tell my mother to erase that "growing like a weed" portion of her little book about my childhood.....wouldn't want people to get the wrong idea ya'know.

When the Greeks, Hindus, Sumerians, and Hebrews all recount a giant flood, it is worth considering. Especially since there is evidence that a great cataclysm destroyed a large portion of life.

The Chinese dated Gun-Yu and the great flood between 2,000-3,000 BC. The Hebrews claim it was 2348 BC. The Sumerians claim that Gilgamesh slayed the celestial bull, which is an allusion to the flood occurring at the end of the era of Taurus the bull, dating it also to approximately 2250 BC.

Just because several groups of people write the same thing doesn't mean you have to take it literally.... allegories can and do get passed down too ya'know.

Certainly. But what if they were isolated by the Atlantic and Pacific ocean?

The Native Americans also have great flood myths. The Hopi people describe a great flood from which only a few righteous people were chosen to be put in a protective vessel to allow them to survive the deluge. Or there's Unu Pachakuti, which the Incans describe as a destructive flood from which only two survived to repopulate the earth.

Still wouldn't matter in my opinion.

I believe the flood stories are factually based on a real event but highly exaggerated. Did a flood happen? Sure that's believable. Did some crazy man build a boat to save his family? Sure, I can get "on-board" with that. Did he then gather together multitudes of animals and stuff them on his majestic boat? Not likely.

Take it as if it were a story from the MSM.... it's likely based in fact, but highly sensationalized and skewed to fit the beliefs of whoever is telling the story.....

I understand your skepticism. By today's observations of the every day world, it seems totally impossible.

But cultures that elaborate on the pre-flood culture explain how the "antediluvian" world was absolutely phenomenal - for example, the ages of the rulers on the Sumerian Kings List humbles the ages of the patriarchs described in the Bible. There were fallen angels walking the earth, giants, etc. It is also interesting to note that the material that is used to build the ark in the Bible is never used again in the Hebrew language, and is totally unique to describe the ark. Sure we can assume all these stories are hyperbole, but there is something intriguing about the details of what our ancestors say our history was like.

I am pulling a land lubbers Noah in prep for 2021s big show......Rabbits,goats,chickens,sheep,flys,and a few more oddball live things…...and I hope everything else makes it....but its a logistics and space issue.You have to feed it and breed it till you need it and then repeat it.No small task.Large resource allocation.

Of course Noahs story is based on fact...of course it was Global in size...of course there was more than a single Ark.....HUMANITY was trying to survive...this time round TPTB are NOT telling the Masses what is coming so no one can build Arks or people like Musk and others would be doing so as we speak.….its the only thing worth investing in....and I can show Elon that some of this worlds most powerfull people agree with my assessment and with my logistics.....you know Elons peers....and those in the power position above him and his peers.....I want to build an Ark...in the right place...where is Elon when you need him.....lol.
