Well, jaw to toe... they left the mustache.

But yeah, everything from there down, including arms. I guess it's all part of trying to create a perfectly sterile environment; I also woke up solid yellow from the Betadine.

Now if only I could wash on hair as easy as I washed off the Betadine.

It’s called “Shave to bed line”, and yes, it is to reduce the risk of infection since bacteria likes to cling to hair.

And they will usually shave at least the majority of the groin area (they left my “kiwis” unmolested, and small patch “south of the border and north of the promised land”).

I haven't been around much and only saw this thread today.....glad you made it through.redneck!!!

Just an update... first follow-up appointment today, and everything looks good.

I am staying very tired, probably because all my energy is going toward healing... so if I'm on sporadically for a while, that's likely why.

Not hairless any more... I had a 5 o'clock shadow before they could start cutting.

And it's coming in thicker! Didn't think that was possible... it already took a bushhog to trim it.

Nah, as a rule we got along OK... well, except when they tried to use a damn needle to explore for stuff. I made a little ruckus over that.

I'll wade through Hell with a switch to fight a chainsaw, but I despise the very thought of a damn needle!
