Again, I’m not aware of the legalities.

If that's the case how can you say he's flirting with treason? Treason is a legal offense.

Because I’m not a lawyer. Neither are you guys.

It's the highest crime of our country, very few people have been charged and convicted.

This person wrote an OP-ED, they said they were trying to block the president on a few key items without detailing how.

We don't know who the person is, none of this is verified.

How could you say they are flirting with treason? For all we know the alleged group of people trying to stop Trump from a couple of issues are using strong words to stop him. Woopdy effing doo, people do that with their boss on the daily across the world.

I’m not making the case he is guilty of treason despite your claims. Someone will, however.

If you're so confident, go make your bet Here, You'll need to lay down 200 dollars to win 100 that if the person is revealed, Trump will try and have treason charges brought up. Sounds like a sure thing, but it's a trap, take it from a better.

You're welcome to it though, put you're money where your mouth is.

You tossed the softballs, the rest are hitting them out of the park, and now you want me to take you to dinner and a show?

You guys are playing t-ball. You have to misrepresent your opponent to hit anything past second base.

This says Mueller has nothing on Trump so they will attack him from a different angle

Boy that's a stretch. I don't even see how these two things are related and you see vindication.

You are making stuff up. You said I was speaking of “illegalities” (I wasn’t), you claimed I said subverting the duly elected president is illegal (I didn’t), and you thought that when I was criticizing the writers behavior I was talking about his anonymous writing, and not to what he admitted to in it. Sorry, but this is just to much fakery to contend with.

You called an action treasonous. Treason is illegal. It's simple substitution logic. How are you having trouble following that logic?

You are splitting hairs over silliness right now because you can't admit that you were wrong.

You’re the one splitting hairs. Despite your fake claims, I am not making the case for treason.

Man. These sure LOOK like your words.

He is definitely playing with treason, he is definitely engaging in propaganda, and just admitted to subverting the same institutions of democracy he tried to blame Trump for destroying. It’s embarrassing.

The post even attributes these words to your username. Did someone else sit in your chair and type them then?

Who are we misrepresenting?

The thread title is "Is the NYT op-ed Sedition and Treason".

You said frankly that they are flirting with treason.

We saying no to both.

I’m calling that you properly engage in my arguments instead of mistruing them to serve your own ends.

The Times does not publish anonymous OP ed pieces. They did not do so this time either. They know this person and they know the position he holds.
They just aren't telling us. They thought the information was important enough to break their own rule and not reveal who wrote this.
The appeal at the end sounds like a seasoned politician. Like Dan Coats.

You dismissed the entirety of my argument to focus on a minor point, or worse, maybe followed everyone else in doing the same.

I believe that has been done conclusively, and that you have no more arguments.

Would you like to restate them, now that "treason" and "sedition" are pretty much wrapped up?

You know, if you want us to move on you could EASILY just say that you were wrong about the treason point and then rebring up your other points you'd like us to address that you are accusing us of ignoring right now.

I think you changed your point.

As for following other people, I am capable of thinking on my own, I take positions on issues. I'm beholden to no politician/party/ideology. My posting record speaks for it self on that one. I've been called a Trumper, concervative, liberal, and socialist. But the answer is none of the above, I'm and individualist.

Which is what this insider resistance crowd is trying to do. Keep the crazy man on the right side of the law but with Alzheimer's advancing it may simply be getting too hard to do.
Hence the advanced warning to the public that this option is on the table.
Where is McConnell and Ryan this morning?
Awful quiet from the leadership no?

I don't really care about any of all that. I clarified my position.
