So what I am reading is this book says people in trumps team called trump mean names and said he was dumb, and trump called people mean names and said they were dumb.

Hard hitting journalism at its finest!

Massive oversimplification, but okay.

Have you read anything supposedly in this book that you think rises to the level of quality journalism?

I assume you know who Bob Woodward is?

According to the Whitehouse, it was disgruntled former employees. John Kelley already came out saying that his own alleged statements were nonsense. Of course, the dogs sucking at the media's teet lap it up.

I do

So what? How does that make this gossip about name calling in trumps team worthwhile journalism?

Wasn’t his partner Bernstein the guy who wrote that story for cnn that embarrassed himself when his source came out to say the story was a lie like just last week?

It's much more than that, but somehow minimizing it seems to be pleasing you, so it really doesn't matter to me.

If you recall, Mark Felt once told Bob Woodward some things that eventually brought a president down.

In any event, some of the folks quoted in the book are denying they said these things. So I'm not sure, even though Woodward is saying he can back it all up with tapes.

Like so many things about dt, it remains to be seen.

That’s fine you think I am minimizing

That’s why I asked what part about this book you think is important

Is it Kelly or Mattis saying trump is dumb?

Is it trump saying sessions is bad words and dumb?

Is it that he wanted to kill Assad?

What revelation is going to bring down trump in this book that you feel is worth discussing?

Yes, a has been journalist whose hey day was in the seventies and THAT somehow makes this book of allegations by unsubstantiated and unverified sources credible. Well, at least to some people. I suspect Woodward jumped the shark about the time the internet became a journalistic medium.

I wonder if POTUS 45 gets royalties from these folks profiting off of his life through their “unbiased” (cough, cough) “journalism”?

Seriously? Go back and watch Trump before he officially moved into politics. He loves the negative press. It is a fun challenge and a game to him. I am sure he is simply baiting and casting his lines out having a terrific day of fishing.

When you say fishing, you really mean golfing, right?

As of September 1, 2018 he has spent a 154 days golfing, or 25% of his Presidency. The taxpayer cost of his golfing has so far been $77,000,000.

The Golf News . Business Insider . Trump Golf Count

By comparison, Obama played 41 rounds per year of his Presidency. Trump is at close to a 100 per year. This puts him on pace to surpass Woodrow Wilson and Dwight Eisenhower, who lead the pack when it comes to presidents.

Dude, my family has small corporations. They golf all the time. They explained to me that golfing is the best way to make deals with contractors and negotiate great business deals. They can lightly discuss issues and the actual driving /putt times allows them and others to refocus and eliminates someone's stubborn stances creating a stalemate.

Plus, it allows a good observer to see subconscious cues in response by their plays. It is an awesome tool to use. Golf in business is an awesome negotiating technique. I can imagine it is very beneficial for a president of America more so than a smaller corporate business...but it does have the same psychological benefits for all.

I have never denigrated any President golfing. Golfing is not like any other sports. I can only imagine Trump is very aware of this as it seems many prior Presidents.

" Grassley said he Expects the Committee to Vote on Confirmation on Sept. 20 "

Regardless of this DNC Freak Show at the Brett Michael Kavanaugh Hearings Today , he Will be Confirmed , making the SCOTUS Lean to the RIGHT in 2018 and Beyond .This IMO is a Good Thing for All Americans no matter what their Political Leanings might be at the Moment . The Personal Constitutional God Given RIGHTS our Founders Envisioned for it's Citizens in Creating this Great Nation MUST be Preserved .

Don't forget, and this'll be a bit too subtle, maybe
Trump is such a Dufus that..

On March 5, Dowd and Trump attorney Jay Sekulow met in Mueller’s office with the special counsel and his deputy, James Quarles, where Dowd and Sekulow reenacted Trump’s January practice session.

Dowd then explained to Mueller and Quarles why he was trying to keep the president from testifying:
“I’m not going to sit there and let him look like an idiot. And you publish that transcript, because everything leaks in Washington, and the guys overseas are going to say, ‘I told you he was an idiot. I told you he was a goddamn dumbbell. What are we dealing with this idiot for?’ ”

Do you guys not readzz stuuff ?
