Trump is a known workaholic who loves to golf. Even when he's golfing, even when you're sleeping, he's working.

Besides, a round of golf is 4 hours max. I suppose the rest of the day he's chilling in the pro-shop.

From the things he says, I'd bet he spends 12 hours a day in front of the television. You know, he doesn't go to work until 11:00 a.m. He gets in the tanning bed every morning, and watches news. Some days he's back in the residence before 5 p.m.

Of course having said that, I know he does stuff, I don't deny that.

No, I don't. I'm sure as hell not going to take 3rd person viewpoints turned into a book as gospel. I realize you have no problem with this as stated by you already.

Helllllooooooo ? JinMI Really ? !!

I don't exist to satiate your desires.

Grow up.

Transcript: Phone call between President Trump and journalist Bob Woodward

www.washingtonpost.com... 17355d06

The link has the full conversation and a audio.

Trump clearly lied on the short exchange and pretended no one told him Woodward wanted to interview him. Woodward says he asked Raj and a few others including Conway. Kellanne Conway was in on the conversation and claimed, although Woodward asked her directly to ask Trump for an interview, she and Trump pretended no one told him about his request.

Below is a short snippet of the ocnversation

Trump: Hello, Bob.
BW: President Trump, how are you?
Trump: How are you? How are you doing? Okay?
BW: Real well. I’m turning on my tape recorder, with your permission.
Trump: Oh, that’s okay. That’s okay. I don’t mind that at all.
BW: I’m sorry we missed the opportunity to talk for the book.
Trump: Well, I just spoke with Kellyanne [Conway] and she asked me if I got a call. I never got a call. I never got a message. Who did you ask about speaking to me?
BW: Well, about six people.
Trump: They don’t tell me.
BW: A senator. I talked to Kellyanne about it two and a half months ago.
Trump: [?].
BW: She came for lunch.
Trump: Well, it’s too bad. Of course, you and I had a conversation a couple of years ago, and so that I think got you there a little bit. And we had a conversation many years ago, if you remember, in Trump Tower.
BW: Yeah, I do.

Here some of the stuff from the book
www.huffingtonpost.com...

This will be a best seller, of course, people like reading Trump political pornography

John Dowd, Trump’s lead attorney with the Russia probe, led a practice session for Trump’s potential testimony with special counsel Robert Mueller, who is investigating possible Russian interference in the 2016 election. According to the book, the president stumbled, contradicted himself and lied so much during the practice session that he eventually lost his cool, ranting, “This thing’s a goddamn hoax,” before deciding, “I don’t really want to testify.”

After Trump said “both sides” at the Charlottesville white supremacist rally were to blame for the violence that occurred in August 2017, advisers urged him to make another speech condemning white supremacists and neo-Nazis. According to Woodward, he almost immediately told aides, “That was the biggest #ing mistake I’ve made” and the “worst speech I’ve ever given.”

Woodward also compared Trump’s paranoia about the Russia investigation as very similar to former President Richard Nixon’s final days as president. According to sources, the president was angered by Mueller’s appointment, saying “Everybody’s trying to get me.”

During a dinner with various military leaders including Defense Secretary Jim Mattis and Gen. Joseph F. Dunford Jr., the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Trump falsely suggested Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) cowardly took advantage of his father’s military rank to get early release from a prisoner-of-war camp in Vietnam. When Mattis corrected his boss, Trump just replied, “Oh, okay.”

Trump reportedly mocked Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ accent, saying, “This guy is mentally retarded. He’s this dumb Southerner. … He couldn’t even be a one-person country lawyer down in Alabama.”

The extent of their resistance is gossip and palace intrigue. It doesn't look good on them.

Some president you got there!

Nice to see there's some checks and balances-team around him. I mean, next time he orders to bomb Angela Merke and there is always someone making him forget his vows.

I don´t see how this is any worse than HRC calling to "just drone them".

Or Obama ordering a strike in a foreign half-befriended country to get OBL and then dump him into the sea so no one can verify.

Because "feelings".

Or Clinton opening the door to the chinese on topics like nuclear weapons while he had his dick chewed.

I'm okay with it,
So's Trump

What do you think about this exchange ?

Dowd then explained to Mueller and Quarles why he was trying to keep the president from testifying:

“I’m not going to sit there and let him look like an idiot. And you publish that transcript, because everything leaks in Washington, and the guys overseas are going to say, ‘I told you he was an idiot. I told you he was a goddamn dumbbell. What are we dealing with this idiot for?’ ”

“John, I understand,” Mueller replied, according to Woodward.

I think that this post and also your first post both refer to the "perjury trap" scenario. Apparently the lawyers tried to demonstrate to Trump how this could work. After 3 pages, no one has mentioned this yet but it is the main reason the lawyers give for him not to testify. Not that they all believe he is an idiot. They just believe he doesn't appreciate the pitfalls that are possible if he testifies. After all, Trump is not a trial lawyer.

So what I am reading is this book says people in trumps team called trump mean names and said he was dumb, and trump called people mean names and said they were dumb.

Hard hitting journalism at its finest!
