Thank you. As a basketball coach in his spare time, I'm sure Kavanaugh knows how to play offense when the right moment arrives.

That and he has experience dealing with kids.

I wanted to watch, but the wife has hit that point in the third trimester where dad cant get any sleep cause she is up every 30 mins to pee, and when she does sleep its like having a chainsaw going full blast... we have a memory foam bed and she vibrates it with her snoring.

After a bad nights sleep the last thing I wanted to hear was the children in DC having a temper tantrum.

Well, #1 is a no-brainer. This is just the GOP dotting i's and crossing t's to make the Dem whine of "We weren't given fair time" zero merit in a couple of weeks when this is over. Kavanaugh is the next SCOTUS justice, period.

#2 I see differently than you do and, honestly, I hope you're right and she does fall ill. Moderates and Conservatives will be instantly energized to vote in the midterms if that happens. We'd possibly be looking at the GOP increasing their lead in not just the Senate (which they will regardless) but also the House in that scenario.
