'Thing' spotted crossing road near Fitzroy Crossing WA

Hi All,

These photo's were posted onto facebook by a good friend of mine. They were a re-post from a friend of his called Lionel.

For all of you that are not familiar with Fitzroy Crossing, it's a small town in the north west of Australia. It has 1297 inhabitants. The population is made up of 800 plus aboriginal families and the rest are non-aboriginal Australians. 2016 Census

It's definitely a small town! However, having lived up that way (Kununurra) for many years I can also tell you it's an awesome town, and it's surrounding are beyond beautiful. Now, Fitzroy is located in an area of Australia call The Kimberly. It's utterly amazing and some of it beyond comprehension. As well as unique fauna and flora it also has it's myths and legends such as the mysterious Wandjina stories, the Min Min and the famous Dream Time Stories.

But

My friend posted these photos the other day and I had to share.

Apparently Lionel was on the way home from the pub when suddenly they say this crossing the road in front of the car:





Anybody got any ideas?? This is all I know, no mention of running, sound or exact location on the road. All I know it was big and walking like a human.

Any chance of the original photos. I mean, blurry photos of blurry photos on someones phone..???, just askin.

if you ever get originals, it would be awesome.

if not, blurry x blurry x blurry helps add to the fakeness.

not saying they are fake, but who posts a picture of a cell phone, when you have the picture ON the phone.

the second one definitely looks like a feral pig



if the first one is the same few seconds of the photo perhaps of jumped up on its hind legs when it saw the headlights coming

That is freaky for sure.

Seeing some humanoid that isn't supposed to exist in a place an old mysterious place like that would rock anyone's boat.

Unfortunately the originals were posted online just as you see them.....a photo of someones phone screen!

Not sure if I'm allowed to post a Facebook profile on here without the persons knowledge? Anyone know at all?

Yeah I thought that. You do see them around? However, I've never seen one do this?

I'm going to try and get more info.

On the second pic is it bending over? Looks sasquatch in appearance or at least on the first one. Wonder if there's been similar sightings around there.

Spent about a month camping a few k's out of Fitzroy Crossing once, It is some awesome country... Just got this ancient mysterious vibe to it.

Though, the aboriginals did use to regularly come snooping though my camp when I was asleep, evidenced by all the fresh foot prints and cigarette butts around my tent when I got up the next morning.

Anyway, the second image really does resemble a feral pig. The first one could probably just be an actual person... Or maybe a Yowie... Who knows?

That’s Hairy Pete. Keeps himself living in the bush. Does not need any clothes due to his dilemma - excessive hairy growth. Would make an excellent pet for some lonely lady.

Not at the moment, it’s not.

Definitely pigs up there as well. Chased them quite regularly in Fitzroy.

The shadow of the 'creature' in the first photo looks wrong.
It looks like it's been messed with to create a human form on the creature.

Maybe this is why we don't have the original photos.

In all likelihood it the vehicle was on an unseald road. Even a sealed road in that part of the world would not be very good, they dont get a lot maintainence.
