Hopi say the same.

In an odd aside, a part of Hopi legend says that when Eagle lands on the moon then it will be the beginning of the end of this cycle of civilization. Because of the knowledge that Eagle brings back to the People.

Anyone ever heard the phrase "The Eagle has landed" anywhere?

It is like the test they give kids in school. The teacher whispers a word in the first students ear, that student whispers the word into another students ear and so on and so forth to the last student. It seems to always change from what the teacher whispered to the first student. And the rest is history.

That's not how the preservation of oral traditions was handled

You should read about it. They took great care of preserving their history and culture

Yes there are sumerian texts that, when translated, a god came from the heavens. Not the earth.

You have not demonstrated that, as yet.

But there are indeed texts (not Sumerian, as far as I know, but pretty old) which say a charioteer carries the Sun across the sky.

No, I haven't.

Can you link to that Hopi legend? Please?

Here is a little bit of it with the dates and times we have shared it....

Version of the Hopi Prophecies

The translation to English is the best I could find with a short look... I learned most of this as a child but it's close to what I know without embellishment.

He's not basing this nonsense on any kind of personal experience or inside knowledge. Hes basing it upon the exact same things any Joe schmoe on here based those beliefs upon. Namely, bad readings and mistranslations of Sumerian texts, and hack authors and TV shows like ancient aliens. The fact that he used to be an astronaut has absolutely zero relevance and lends him zero credence since, once again, hes not basing this upon any kind of personal experience.

Why is that so much more far fetched then "we evolved from monkeys"?.

Gee, I dont know. Maybe because one has scientific evidence supporting it, and one doesn't?

Interesting.

I was involved in a sweat lodge ceremony held.by a native shaman from Northern CA in Northern CA deep in the mountains. We had to say a specific prayer as they brought in each rock for hours and hours.

They used dear antlers and we made it by hand and everything.

That night when I was sleeping an angel came to me in my dreams and opened her hands and inside her hands was a lotus bulb. She gave it to me and after she have it to me the lotus bulb flowered

I wonder if this method of transition is one used to acquire prophecy

I hear you loud and clear brother. I have already went down many of those paths as suggested through members of this board a while ago. I love z sitchin. Even if he has some of the minor translations incorrect, my intuition tells me there is a lot of truth there. There are so many pieces that feel right that I am still trying to fit together.

What a great mystery. We will overcome our false overlords at some point.

Lol. Minor translations incorrect? He was blatantly wrong (or outright lying) about massive swathes of the text. His entire premise is based upon mistranslations.

What is on the link is somewhat close... And my Dad was in his 30's when he told me... LOL

I am sure they did. I am talking about who would have really known what the first word whispered was? The first ones. Todays mainstream archaeological type is starting with the last word whispered trying to figure out what the first word was.

The translation to English is the best I could find with a short look

I think that particular that "short look" would fall into this category:

Beware, then, of any one person professing to be a traditional spokesperson for the Hopi or even a "traditional’ Hopi. No one person can possibly speak for all Hopi people. Some who profess to do so do not practice the beliefs of Hopi religion or participate in its priesthoods.

The following list includes non-Hopi individuals who are known to profit from Hopi spirituality and culture. Contrary to their claims, none of these individuals are Hopi (either through birth or adoption), represent the Hopi, or speak for any Hopi "elders." We urge you not to donate any money to their causes, purchase their literature, or attend their gatherings."[3]
