The cardiologist visit went okay this morning. As it was the first meeting with this doctor everything is still in the testing stage. Based on my previous records I have a very weak heart. I had an EKG and they took blood for lab testing. Of course insurance wouldn't pay for all of the lab work so I had to come up with $125 to cover my share of it (Dad's credit card). I go back on the 22nd for additional testing and will see the doctor on the 24th (I think) to go over the test and set up a plan.

Just out of interest, how did the bus journey go? Did you find it more convenient or stress-free to go on your own instead of getting Dad to drive?

Climbing up into the bus is a bit of challenge for me so is estimating length of time I'll be at my doctor appointments so I can make it home without calling dad.

The drive is much less stressing than with dad and the drivers are real nice and helpful.
Counting down the number of days (eight to be exact) before I get my cast removed.

I'm not as good as finding beautiful pictures as our nightstar and others here are, so words will have to suffice.

A field of flowers seems to beckon you, singing gently with whispers as they dance in the wind. Multicolored and varied, they stand tall and short, wide and thin, big and large. Yellows and blues, purples and reds, oranges and whites, and every color in between, all supported by green. Their song is soothing, the melody gentle and hauntingly beautiful, seeming oddly reminiscent for all that it is unfamiliar. They seem to stretch torwards you, inviting you to run, to walk, to spin, to drop; to sing as they Doo with the sun and the moon, the wind and the stars.

I'm doin ok. Stomach is a little grumbly from the plum perogies I had last night, but that is to be expected. Besides, they are worth the discomfort, soo good
