I take meds for sleep so i get where you are coming from. If I didn't have them, I wouldn't sleep at all.

I have my medicinal MM and melatonin to help me sleep. Is your med over the counter or a prescription?

Great post, Night... and I agree with “ agreeing to disagree”.

Obviously my nap didn’t work out 😆... too much coffee from 11am to 1 pm. Ugh.. I like my afternoon naps 😕.

Okay finally! I hope this works.

The song is "Believer" by Imagine Dragons and it's sung here by 600 strangers.
I can't find the original video that I watched but this is pretty much the same.

I just found it really uplifting and amazing to hear all the voices together.
If you listen to it, let me know what you think!

Yes, that looked fun! There is a power in so many people coming together and singing. Wonderful!

Here is the original.

Thank you, yes...it's powerful.
I can feel so much good energy when I watch it...I bet it was wonderful to participate.

I love flash mobs too.
There is something really great about a bunch of people coming together to make music (and/or dance). Remember going to rock concerts when we were younger...and everybody was happy and enjoying the experience?
(I know you do!)

Sheye...Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!

Wow, that version is quite violent. I like the sound of the song, though.

We've posted flash mob vids in here before. FUN!

Yes I remember those concert days, just a sea of people united together, holding our lighters high.

I like both songs , but the second video is much more to my liking. There is just something about watching violence that can get to me. Sometimes I’m ok with it depending on storyline 🤷🏻‍♀️.( I can be so fickle😆)

Video can sometimes ruin a song for me, which is why I often choose the lyric version, because that’s what I want the focus to be. Also , at times, there are other videos that are not the “official “ video for the song, but in my opinion are better .

Just my two cents on videos 😏

Sometimes I love a song for the tune, other times for the lyrics and many times, for both.

I like this one...

Yes! A sea of people united.
There was never any violence, no fighting...everyone was there to enjoy the music.

In an e-mail to Blue I mentioned flash mobs and he had never heard the term before. He thought it was something like Black Friday at WalMart and I laughed. I was hoping he would pop in today and let us know how he's doing.

Sorry if I'm rambling. Feeling nostalgic and got the lonelies.
It's taking me a while to adjust to so much alone time.

Great song...I love Alicia Keys' voice.

Yes, Blue has been a wonderful friend to me. A lot of people from The Shed have become really important to me. I sometimes wish I wasn't a person who needs other people, but I do.

I was just watching a couple of old "Sex and the City" reruns, and at the end Carrie usually narrates saying something like a 'moral to the story'.
She just said, "Maybe the past is like an anchor...and sometimes we have to let go of who we used to be...to make room for who we will be."
I think I needed to hear that.

I too was hoping he would pop in. Blue has a great sense of humor and is so kind and compassionate. A wonderful friend to have!

I find that no matter how old we become there is always something new to learn and experience. We change as our lives unfold, hopefully into something better.

< rocks in corner, repeatedly banging head off wall >

My Hoover shampooer died today in mid-cleaning, suction completely dead. Right after the liquid dispenser button got stuck and soaked the strip of carpet I was shampooing. Hubby and I frantically ripped it apart and tried to fix it, but it's hopeless -- the section for it is practically welded shut, we can't get the housing off. It's dead, done, finished, my 12 year old shampooer finally bit the dust.

I was able to use the hand mode on the spot cleaner I got a few weeks ago to suck up the puddle the Hoover spit out, though, so it's drying out right now. At least I don't have to try to soak it up with towels, right?

I get an early Christmas present next week, that much hubs has assured me. Now I have to go study current models and figure out what the hell to get to replace this one with, mine was so old & bulky that it was virtually the same footprint size as a Bissell Big Green (those are very bulky) I really have no idea what's out there, the new vacuum was so easy to choose by comparison...

Moves Nyiah away from the wall for safety reasons.

Getting tired and achy. Still around, but if I disappear for a while, I shall return later.
