Jacy disappeared. She must be eating the whole package and hiding out. LOL

Nope, she is hiding under covers from the spiders attracted to peanut butter cookies.

Does she have her flame thrower with her ?😳

The flame thrower does nothing to stop the fire resistant spiders heading up to Canada from New Mexico.

Wait... what?!

What he's trying to say is he is not Dr. Dolittle. He's bad with animals.

Oh thank the stars. I thought that we were about to be invaded by spiders, not that I'm overly worried. They would get to Saskatchewan and commit suicide due to cold/boredom.

😂... you forgot the extreme heat.

Where in Canada are you ?
ETA: but I have to admit we fight boredom like many others do.. sitting on our arses snd perusing the interwebs. That and taking classes in igloo building.

How could I forget the devil sun?! I'm in Saskatoon, Sask. At least I like the cold winters. Does anyone know if Alaska has hot summers? I know it gets cold up there. Looking for a place with cold summers and winters.

Well.. Autorico...we’re neighbors.. sorta. I’m a loonie toonie from Toon Town as well. I’m not calling you loonie , but I am definitely admitting I am at times 😜.

I'm even more stereotypical. Although I pay my way, I live in my moms basement!

Did you manage to get to the folkfest or any of the fringe ? Lots of smoke here in Saskatoon for a few days there.
As I get older , and with serious back pain, I avoid crowds and standing or walking too long. Not sure what my aversion to too many people is all about, but I don’t even care for house parties with too many people. I am more a one on one or a small gathering type of person.

Anyhoo , it’s nice to meet a fellow Saskatoonian ( is that a word ? 😏)

No, I didn't go to any of the festivals or The Ex. I'm not much of a crowd person either. And I don't really know anyone here with the same interests as myself. Once I get more stable I'll start work and meet some people, it works out in the end.

Nothing wrong with that ! Rent is outrageous here, and so many young adults live with their parents, with affordable rent, or just saving money for a car, etc.

I know of at least 5 friends who have grown children still at home ( or moved back in )... and they don’t seem to mind a bit.

We moved back here 3 years ago from B.C., rent is reasonable here compared to the lower mainland.

Yes, I guess when you compare it to other parts of Canada , it’s reasonable. But compared to 10 years ago , it’s almost doubled ( house prices soared at that time as well ) .

Oh well... housing is starting to drop, but I doubt rent will see much of a decrease.

It seems the oil boom is declining a little, so hopefully prices, rent and purchase, go down. I know a family member has a house on the market and aren't expecting to make much off it.

Skips through the garden blowing bubbles. What? I'm nurturing the child within. As Jacy would say, don't judge me.

Hello my Lovelies! How is everyone today? I'm filling my weekly pill container. The table kind of looks like I spilled skittles all over it. Quite colorful I must say.
