It has been my experience that those that like to cry about this sort of stuff are those that use those social media platforms as means of informing themselves.
They rely on FB and twitter to get the information they want and it is not a good mix of different views. They want very specific confirmation bias and stuff like this is viewed as a threat, because they believe their sources of spoon-fed BS is under attack.

All the more incentive to go make their own echo chamber then.

Here's why so many are in Jones's corner.
When you fight a culture war, you go to war with the army you have not the one you want. We've been forced to this.
Sure, Fakebook, YouTube, and Google are privater entities who can do what they want, but telecom regs should apply. If they're going to police content, then they need to police it equally across all their users or risk being held liable. Does anyone honestly think for one second this is what's actually going on?
If they aren't going to police some, then they need to allow their spaces to remain free for all, not just those whose views they like.
In short, their standards have to remain constant, not convenient.

And there is no culture war. Culture is changing. People are changing, as is always the case and always will be the case.
The problem is that they are not changing to fit the culture that you have created for yourself. And that you see as a threat.

This has more to do with Alex Jones supporting President Trump than it does with Sandy Hook. I mean, they had almost 6 years to go after him... why now? Maybe because the mid terms are just around the corner and Infowars was getting 80 million hits a week during the 2016 election.
I guess the left has proved yet again that free speech is fine, as long as you agree with it.

Why do you think I want to hear what dickhead Jones has to say?
Keep up with the conversation or just read and you might learn something.

Make no mistake. It is ALEX JONES who is telling them we are in a culture war.
It is HE who has insisted we are already in a new civil war, falsely. Anyone encouraging this lie is an accomplice to whatever violence is doled out by his followers.
