The real secret being kept by masons is probably their disappointment. They joined looking forward to mysticism, occult crafts, being part of a "conspiracy", and after many years of masonry find that it is none of that, and that it indeed is what it purports to be: A charity organization. I really wished it were a conspiracy or a mystical order. That would be fun, that would be exciting. But its not, is it:-)

I MUST remain impartial. Whether I agree or disagree with any position, I have to keep my leanings out of the fray. My only position is the policies of ATS. I do contribute from time to time though with what little knowledge I have on certain topics.

i was a very very enlightened individual at one time..i went thru a personel hell for 3 yrs...with a love who became imbalanced due to death..
i seen the carpet pulled from under my feet..as if i was a third person looking in..i knew what i had to do,thou chose not to..for valuable lessons..

i have not lost the level of enlightenment i attained,just put it aside..

to truly learn.(transformation).we need to unlearn everything we have allready learned..
dont mean to put anyone down,,but i dont see secret society members learning what they really should be..

Just out of curiosity, how many people do you really know that are in secret societies?

7 at the present.many over the years....i come from a prominent/distinguished italian family and have had a few or more family members in them..

I appreciate your support, and hope you can help me better deal with my own ignorance regarding the purpose of my trials. I do not care if others think I am naive for thinking that there is a reason for our lives that is of a spiritual nature. I sometimes think that I fool myself into believing I am trying to face the demons, when maybe I am not.
I would really be grateful if you expanded on the above quote, in particular, what you knew you had to do, and chose not to, and I agree that valuable lessons are certainly the major factor why we face these challenges.

When faced with material that is highly defamatory of a person or a group, I have found that it is generally a good idea to find out what the person or group in question have to say for themselves.

It makes for a more balanced viewpoint, and keeps you from insinuating things or making accusations about people you know little if anything about. Probably what you think you "know" is so far from the truth as to be absurd. Especially to say that Masons are Satan worshippers, that's just plain nonsense.
