1. I'd not call the guy a redneck.
2. Was there some part of "immediately arrestable" which you didn't follow? The woman was right to call the cops and the cop was right to assess the situation first rather than come swooping in and immediately take down the man making the woman "uncomfortable."

I think I recognize that guy from the mud pit. He's quite popular and has an avytar sporting a tough guy with a pistol.

I didn't minimize anything except the criticism of the first reporting officer, you need to reread.

I recently dealt with an irate old man. Long story which I won't be getting into on here, but I will tell you pointing and laughing at them as they rage is worth the price of admission. Make a game of it... see if your amusement can push them over the edge into a full on stroke out or, if they storm away, mock them loudly as they go.

good for you, but why did you put 'uncomfortable' in quotes. You still refuse to accept the fact that the SOB was harassing her, scaring her, and appeared threatening to her. You are minimizing his actions for reasons I don't comprehend, unless of course, you think it's "okay" to follow a woman in a park attending a birthday party and harass the # out of her because you don't like what's she wearing?

Being an idiot isn't illegal.
Why are there calls for a police investigation?

I did that to my cousin.
He pulled a gun on me.

I had a big bore hand cannon on my hip during my dealings with the angry old fart. No firearms were drawn during it.
