No. The president focuses on one gang out of thousands. And we all know why he focuses on them. MS-13 and their 10,000 members toatal about 1% of active gang in America. He needs to focus on the other 99% as well. Especially the Harley riding biker gangs. They easily are 40 times bigger and more dangerous than MS-13.

This is common knowledge. When they use "fact check" to bolster their articles it is a form of persuasion, and not very often is it even REAL fact checking.

That's literally the plan. The largest TV news organization has a decidedly right-wing bias (as does radio), but you can't argue facts with people who are literally programmed to ignore them in favor of corporate propaganda ("it's the liberal media!") Everything you say or do will be turned around to make you a villain for quoting a source that isn't on their approved list of providers. If their providers contradict themselves, it's a socialist /communist plot.

Focus on rocking the vote from now on. Figure out the apathy triggers for the non-voters and organize. Arguing with true believers is pure entertainment and only galvanizes the base. Making fun of their heroes only galvanizes the base. Get in touch with your local party and demand they run candidates worth supporting and vote like your head is on fire for every candidate you do support from the bottom to the top.

Everything else is masturbation and virtue-signaling.

Trump Supporters didn't elect a politician that vets everything he says through his handlers, I mean aids.

Trump Supporters voted for a grandiose personality that makes grandiose claims. Nit picking him is pointless. It's basically saying Trump is being Trump.

Most of his "lies" are exaggerations or he is misinformed. I don't mind that he speaks off the cuff. I've read through the complied list of Trump lies. Many of them are simply Trump making a political point based on how he perceives the situation.

I refuse to judge Trump based on his personality sense it was his personality that got him elected.

What I will do is judge him on his accomplishments or lack thereof. And how well he does or does not maintain his campaign promises. To date it looks like he as at least tried to follow through on all his promises.

The past administration is being investigated. Trump is trying to build a wall but the Dems won't let him. He has cracked down on illegal immigration. He signed an EO in the quickest response to public outcry that the country has ever seen. He did cut taxes. He tried to repeal and replace Obama care but again was stopped by the dems and yet he still managed to eliminate the tax penalty.

These are the only facts important to me.

And to the OP about Russia.

It's been proven that Russia has tried to sow distrust in our leadership through propaganda. Propaganda that has been negative to both sides. A divided kingdom cannot stand regardless of who is in charge. Russia cares more about keeping us divided than who sits in the Oval office.

The AP is a news spinning machine that spins to the left. The claim of non bias is a lie in itself. Spin is not necessarily a lie but it isn't really the truth either.

Lets do an AP fact check on them.

1) They have not presented any credible data on MS-13 gang violence or growth. (even politifact rate Trump's concerns abotu MS-13 as 'half true').
2) They have not presented any evidence that Russia hacked the election
3) Trump didn't say he was hiring 1,000s of judges - he said :

We shouldn’t be hiring judges by the thousands, as our ridiculous immigration laws demand, we should be changing our laws, building the Wall, hire Border Agents and Ice and not let people come into our country based on the legal phrase they are told to say as their password.

So it seems AP's fact check is just an opinion piece, with no facts.
It seems that liberals like to make lists of 'lies' which they also seem to determine on the basis of what they think or what someone else said, not what they know.

I read that article about Snopes and I am not impressed.
(a) can't disclose details because of a divorce? That is a nothing-burger against Snope per se.
(b) A(!) member of snopes did run on a non-disclosed political position? Well, the political party isn't even mentioned, only hinted at (NOT the authors own view, very obviously). Okay, but Snopes does not function a la "I do not like that fact-check, lets do another thing and no-one ever looks at that!". You need better arguments than that.

David Mikkelson, the founder of Snope, statement: "Does that mean anyone who has ever run for office is manifestly unsuited to be associated with a fact-checking endeavor, in any capacity?"

Yet, David provided no comment on how Snopes does or does not explicitly force diversity of opinion in its ad-hoc fact checking teams.

I do not think that Mr. Leetaru has a true understanding what facts are and how they are to be checked on credibility and trueness.

This article did NOT deny snopes.com the credibility to check facts in an uninfluenced and objective way.

It seems that liberals like to make lists of 'lies' which they also seem to determine on the basis of what they think or what someone else said, not what they know.

A few months ago, I think it was NY Times published a "list of lies" from Trump since he's been in office. I started to read it and within the first few lines I found things they were misrepresenting, taking out of context, or flat out lying about themselves. Some of them were legit lies. Let's face it, Trump lies. But why can't they just stick to his legit lies, why do they have to exaggerate and make more things up? They're just as bad as he is.

The media may do that but Reuters and AP are newswires, any journalist on a pro or anti-Trump campaign would be fired. It's vetted via tripple sourcing and incredibly strict house style.

Fact-Checks/Reality Checks, in the current form, have only been around for the last 20 years or so - but Bush/Blair, Brown/Cameron/Obama and Trump/May/Brexit face them. They've got more popular recently as it's been shown that it not only corrects audience impression, it also makes it harder for politicians to spread disinfo.

MS-13 is a problem. Why don't we worry about the problem and stop worrying about if Trump was right about them growing? Why is this even a damm issue?

Drugs, human traffickers and gang members are crossing the border. It just seems that gang members are being killed at the same rate that they are gaining new members. We know MS-13 is crossing our border, it's possible Trump didn't realize their mortality rate was so high.

If we could spend the same amount of time and energy working for bi-partisan solutions as we do nit picking everything Trump says maybe the Dems would have an actual platform and something might actually be accomplished.

Well said. And it only further damages their credibility, that they themselves have been assaulting for years, well before Trump came along. They actually think Trump is the reason public trust in the media is at an all time low. They're as out of touch as the Democrats they shill for.
