"ghosting" is it the way of the world and okay or is it truly disrespectful to ingnore someone?

Yes to both. It is the action of a childish coward. The world is full of em.

kind of see it but in a different way, the guys doing the ghosting are basically saying i liked you now i don't so to the garbage you go

also the ghosting could go both ways

very different than that hate thing right from the beginning like a black or white thing

i do well mostly hehe but i can see and feel grateful for your help

If i ever get to go to th le UK i will let you know, i would like to meet your tribe for sure

i guess i'm looking at thinks from my own side only and as i'm usually the one walking away from relationships i didn't get the feeling of being 'ghosted'

If you tell the person from the beginning that you will ghost, than technically you put a timer on the relationship, which the other person was clearly content with. If they continue on with the foreknowledge that this action will eventually happen, they have already come to terms with it.

Plus, alot of ghosting happens with mistresses/ side dudes. I never observed it or heard of my friends doing it with their real relationships, just their side flings.

but i just don't understand how

if you are in good terms and you expect things to be free and be over any time, just say well its over now, good bye

why if you are in good terms and both know it is temporary you have to just disappear without any word and stop taking calls or messages like if you died? it does not make sense

just say thanks and good bye?

Perhaps the "ghoster" is in a scary place and doesn't have the personal wherewithal to face the "ghostee". (This skeleton lives in my closet and it has more to do with my zombie-like state at the time). It might seem eerie, but when I make that choice, I will not be possessed into discussing the matter further. I've been on the receiving end of that from some fine-looking ghouls, too. As a young man, sure, it was startling. But it's not as frightening now that I'm older, even when she turns out to be an evil witch.

Maybe the "ghostee" is oblivious to their own shortcomings. If you've already shown them the EVP recordings and tried ritual cleansings to no avail, you might have to accept that nothing will help them comprehend that their incorporeality is the supernatural result of their own ghastly behavior. But these situations come in all shapes and sizes. For instance, if you've got an emotional vampire on your hands, beware: they never break up without drawing a little blood, and that can be a real pain the neck. Either way, moving on might be the right thing to do.

Lastly, maybe the "ghostee" is so disembodied by feeling disrespected that they overlook the bright light to their own personal heaven, right under their nose. I've been there a number of times, too. It's spooky, but it's a truth that's been mummified in my consciousness.

I read a book a few months back called "The Four Agreements". It haunts me to this day. It offers spritely bits of advice, one of which is "Don't Take Things So Personally".

Not cool, unless you are dealing with a psycho.

Then it's understandable.

But nothing pissses me of more than people that can't say no.

I've had a few work for me.

It's weasly, cowardly bs. "Oh, yeah, sure I will be there!" (With no plan on showing up)

No show, no answer, next day call back with excuses.

It's the exact same passive personality.

Ugh

I know this happened to my son but I am old and misundestood what "ghosting" meant. He had invested almost 2 years in this girl and was quite serious. He came away so hurt and angry that he has rarely dated since-coming back from someone you really love just walking away without explanation does real damage.

Unless there's a reason for not being honest and discussing why a relatiionship is just not working, "ghosting" is just purely mean, evil and wrong. When you know they care about you more than you care about them, they deserve to know.

Sometimes, many times, relationships just don't evolve. But, once you have invested your heart, money, soul and bed with someone, they deserve at the least a face to face talk. That's just being kind and civilized.

As they say "I weep" for this current generation, if this behavior is acceptable.

Well i think that's already behind everything and i won't even bother with that anymore, it was more about notices i got and other things about removed comments and so on.

Probably nothing that matters but i just don't know. Oh well
