The ink on the deal was still wet when Donald Trump decided to pull out.

The US president has backtracked on a joint statement agreed at a G7 summit in Quebec, Canada, just hours earlier because, Trump claims, Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau made "false statement" at a press conference.

Trudeau’s office responded to Trump’s tweets with a statement: “We are focused on everything we accomplished here at the G7 summit. The Prime Minister said nothing he hasn’t said before — both in public, and in private conversations with the President.”

This man(?) is a menace to the world.

Opps forgot the source in my hurry, one I don't use often - in a hurry again...

If I were Putin, and I could, I'd be doing EXACTLY what our President is doing in order to place a wedge between the US and its NATO partners. Funny how the Right can't see it.

Good thing Christine Lagarde was there too.

In an interview in May 2012, Lagarde was asked about crisis-stricken Greece, but opted for a less than sympathetic response. She drily referred to Greek tax avoidance, and assented to the interviewer's suggestion that Greeks had "had a nice time" but now "it's payback time."

AMERICA FIRST!

Americans who don't like it, should leave the country.

For the last 20 years or more, every single type of global gathering like this has ended in agreements that have HARMED every American citizen, not helped.

Now finally we get someone who actually cares about Americans right down to the ground, and all a lot of you can do is whine in defense of your captors.

Say hello to your advanced stages of Stockholm Syndrome!

I see it from living out of America. Trump is a true American Patriot . He loves his country and its Vets also, sorry to say but like Carter who was a peaceful leader , so is Trump.

Canada puts Canada first in their trade associations, so does most of the countries in the world. There is some government subsidies on creation of some things in Canada that make their export cheaper and more competitive in the USA. There has always been some restrictions on those imports to the USA.

We're at the technological level to produce virtually anything should we choose. Indoor, verticle farms, 3D printers, you name it.

Isolationism is a bad thing and perhaps a reset is needed, at the very least, we focus on ourselves and keeping sacred and advanced tech to oursevles.

The F you talking about.

Its been bumpy, like Twin Towers bumpy, and millions dead bumpy, because of its been longer than all my years the most complete opposite of Isolationism (called Global Hegemonic Imperialism).

And this black & white reality everyone here goes by, where either you have Isolationism, or forward projected Imperialism, but nothing in between, well, "only a Sith deals in absolutes".

Well see it how it pans out, it looks messy from where I'm sitting and I suspect the American people will be the ones left suffering when push comes to shove.
