Remember a few years ago there was threads about Walmarts being turned into detention facilities and then a story came out about how plumbing problems were the cause? Well, appears at least one of those closed Walmarts has been confirmed to be exactly that.

thefreethoughtproject.com...

U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR) attempted to enter the converted Walmart in Brownsville, TX to inspect the living conditions of immigrant children who had reportedly been separated from their parents and were rumored to be kept in cages and concrete floors of the converted Walmart. Merkley streamed live on social media his attempt to enter the facility but was denied entry by Homeland Security.

All the windows and doors to the facility—which is a shuttered Walmart—have been blacked out with window tinting. Merkley arrived and was immediately asked to leave by a female government worker.

One of the country’s most powerful lawmakers then demanded to speak with a supervisor. Instead of complying with his wishes in the name of transparency, the shadowy government workers called Brownsville police on the U.S. Senator. After 10 minutes of waiting and being confronted by local police, he was denied entry and forced to leave.

The detention facility is run by Southwest Key Programs, who promptly issued an apology to the Senator from Oregon on Wednesday for disallowing Merkley entry to its converted Walmart on Padre Island Highway in Brownsville.

Interesting.

Did that apology come with a tour?

If you think about it, it just makes the most sense.

Why build a new detention center when there is already a Walmart or 5 in every city?

Very resourceful...

Oh wait!!! Detention center?!?!?! WHAT!?!??! Not in America!!!!!

Oh, these are the bad kids in school that have to go to detention - a common punishment... I get it now lol

Starting to look like it's no accident Trump is the president, doesn't it?

Someone has to fill those shadow government camps the people have warned about for years, and now we have the right government to finish the job. If this turns out true and the Senator really did see children inside, we're not far away from end game. Sickening if true.

Here's a couple of other links:

Of course it's no accident.

Trump worked very hard on his presidential campaign. Hard work pays off.

That's what you were implying, correct??

ha!

2008. Good find, and you may have been right, sir. We just had to wait for the right phase of the game to start, a decade later.

And this is now a social experiment, a petri dish if you will... if people are too dumb to allow children being imprisoned, for any reason, it will be a thumbs up to go ahead with the rest of the plan.

Here is a reminder of how this could end up, from earlier in history:

First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

Is there proof to this claim as it applies to this topic?

Has anyone yet said this was ok? Not yet on this first page, but there's still time... don't underestimate.

Here's a question for you. If this is verified as true and the Senator was not lying, as is possible he could be, and we find it was done with the White House knowledge and it's not some rogue operation Washington didn't know about... will you still think it's not ok, as I hope you are stating now, or will it become ok at that point?

You were ahead of the news cycle by a decade! It's too bad the MSM doesn't hire REAL reporters any longer. You'd be a star!

So you can not answer my simple question? That is fine as I was one out of curiosity.

will you still think it's not ok,

Now how can we have an honest discussion when you ask hypothetical questions based and put words in my mouth?

None of this assumption would be OK to any decent person. I'm more concerned with the facts that the senator was acting on.

To his credit, he was denied entry with federal guards.

Hate to burst your buble but it isnt a detention center. This is where unaccompanied minors are sent until they can find relatives to take them. They stay there about 30 days until a bew home is found for them. This is a humanitarian thing if a minor is crossing the border bt themselves you wouldnt juat want to release them into society without any means of taking care of themselves.

I answered it for you, didn't I?

I'll answer it again. Not yet in this thread. Or maybe you were referring to my full quote:

if people are too dumb to allow children being imprisoned, for any reason, it will be a thumbs up to go ahead with the rest of the plan.

That is called a Future Conditional... if this happens then this will happen. In the future, if that happens, than it will be a sign of this.

That answer it better? If you word the question right I promise to take time to answer it and explain it. If this doesn't then go ahead and ask it differently and I'll come back and explain what I meant to say.
