The OP did not quote CNN, it quoted a second hand source that introduced its own bias. I did due diligence by checking what CNN actually said. Do you have direct access to the letters in question, or are you relying on secondary sources?

Here; direct link to letters between Grassley and McCabes Lawyer.

I'm really shoked the usual suspects aren't here claiming this to be a "nothing burger". Even the few that have dared poke their noses in won't even address the topic. This one should be good. S&F.

McCabe can plea deal for a lesser sentence depending on how good his info is.

Give him immunity, he can talk BS all day.

Otherwise he lied even if he pleads the 5th and can go to fed prison like Martha.

The investigations will prove what he's done. So he's screwed.

NO IMMUNITY!!!

Gotta stop these mofo's from walking.

Can you specify which emails you consider incriminating?

The story here is that McCabe has already been referred to the DOJ
for prosecution for lying to the DOJ Inspector General, and
leaking to the media.

Now he has been summoned before the Senate for further interviews.

He is afraid to talk as he might further incriminate himself,
so he has through his lawyer requested immunity in exchange
for his testimony, as shown in the letters at the link.

Hope that helps....

Someone is showing displeasure in your viewpoints. Not the first person to do so. Mods let people voice opinions. It's called free speech.

What evidence have you been privy too the rest of us have not that demonstrates Comey is "already" in trouble? McCabe was the classic scapegoat. Scapegoats take falls for higher ups. We don't know specifically what the DOJ has on McCabe. If they have substantially enough to put him away for an eternity then his best bet is a plea deal to a lesser charge AND testimony to take down Comey. If they gather enough substantial evidence on Comey then the same scenario plays out to go after Hillary.

See how this works?

BTW...your grammar and sentence structure sucks. Piecing together what you write is tiresome. Aren't you supposed to have some advanced degree or something? Not an insult mate...just an observation.

It is not about "free speech," it is about Terms and Conditions. That post made no sense... Unless it was *coded. "

What does the link say? I can't believe the mods are letting you get away with this nonsense.

McCabe is also guilty of crimes in part2 and part3 of the IG Report. He helped get Hillary off the hook, and helped set up SPYGATE on Trump.

So there's a lot of incentive for him to cut a plea deal, in exchange for throwing as many bodies as he can under the bus.

For these reasons, we urge this Committee to apply for a Court order compelling
Mr. McCabe's testimony and granting him use immunity. If this Committee is
unwilling or unable to obtain such an order, then Mr. McCabe will have no choice but
to invoke his Fifth Amendment privilege against self-incrimination.

So, give my client a get out of free jail card - or he says nothing.

its a catch22, give him immunity - then he simply lies his a$$ off and gives them red herrings

I could be wrong, but lying under immunity voids the immunity. If it is found out he lied, he is back behind the 8 Ball. That being said, no immunity till he shows the goods. It's not like he is in a good barging position.

Andy McCabe took in $538,000 from gullible GoFundMe supporters. Now, he potentially won't need the money after all?
