No public job should be unionized.

Not police.

Not EMTS.

Not Nurses.

Not Air Traffic controllers.

Not Grope squad called the TSA or any other.

PUBLIC jobs.

The state is suppose to be awesome right ?

So it sucks to work for them unless you rip me off to pay their wage and benefits?

Hell no.

I can agree.

I just heard some weird diversity BS about the FAA and those people.

Maybe you or someone can look into it more?

Trump making hundreds of millions of dollars off of the Presidency is a bigger conflict of interest, not to mention illegal and treasonous. If you had a shred of objectivity you would be calling be Trump to resign or be impeached.

If you had a shred of objectivity

Seriously? I mean really, Just Fu**king SERIOUSLY?

Your slavering hatred for Trump and Conservatives in general is almost palpable.

The primary difference, and why the union lawsuits will fail, is that the corporations and private unions were using their own money to speak... Public sector unions are using tax payer money to speak. They have no Constitutional right to subsidies.

But, this specific issue isn't about money, it's about managing federal employees' right to free speech and when they can use it, in this case only for 25% of their time.

I'm sure that these federal employees who work full time for the unions have job descriptions that conflict with Trump's 25% mandate.

Actually, it is. The issue is about money, always has, always will be.

It is, for Trump. But it isn't for the union within their lawsuits. It's about the President violating separation of powers and trying to micro manage free speech, treating some employees differently than others, accoring to their statement:

“Without any valid jurisdiction, it singles out labor organizations and their representatives for disparate, negative treatment as compared to individuals,” AFGE’s said of the executive order. “In so doing, the official time order restrains and retaliates against AFGE and its union-member employee representatives in and for the exercise of their respective rights to expressive association.”

Um....

He volunteered to not get paid for the job of President.

He is worth billions. Doesn't need the money you are talking about.

WTF are you even babbling about?

I guess he can make you happy by taking a 65 million dollar deal from Netflix for something they will never get, as Obama has done?

I don't know to be puzzled or sad by your posts.

Please seek help.

Because collective bargaining by a minority when the majority is footing the bill, and then there's forced dues.

I do like how the one of the articles says the VA which has over 377,805 employees has 250 people working full time official time and just assumes they are all Union people. If they are all Union that is one rep per 1500 people. Also remember that VA is broken up between many different locations around the country. Suddenly this looks like a 100% attack on unions and not about saving money which isnt surprising coming form the GOP and their rubber stamp Trump. I wouldnt be surprised if Pence put this on his desk and Trump was just happy to pen his name.

I'm not sure if you knew this, but we already know your opinion on everything political.

Trump = Bad.

Why bother typing a paragraph when we already know the outcome? Why burn all the energy and increase your carbon footprint even more when you can conserve energy and just paste a reply every time?

Just copy this...

Trump = Bad

Then paste it into everything you can reply to. Do it for the children!!

Do it for the planet!!!!

Quoting Lumenari

There you have it folks Lumenari had nothing to say about my contribution to the topic and went straight to Trump hate.

ON TOPIC

I would love to see how they came to this number of up to $177 million. Another thing people who hate on unions forget is union reps also deal with a lot of work related issues that would have to be done by people working for the employers in non-union companies. Fixing disputes, ensuring proper training, ect.

It's a step in the right direction.

So getting rid of unions is a step in the right direction? How so?

Point of order: PUBLIC SECTOR unions

You'll have to just pardon me on this one, princess, but I'm just gonna need a bit more than you just popping something like this out of your ass.

So, you wanna back that up with something other than hot air?

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

It's not even debatable that Trump is the most corrupt person to ever work in the white house.

Yeah. At this point. I hope he makes billions just so little snowflakes like you keep getting your panties in a bunch. The lols are worth it. We'll let the next Democrat in 2024 deal with it. Then the Dem 2024 president will claim all of Trump's success as their own. Same old, same old.

I don't know about 40 million Democrats, but the unions have already filed lawsuits, citing a 1st Amendment violation, which is what I believe Citizen's United was based on, corporations are people and money is speech.

So CU is terrible .. until they benefit from it then it's awesome!

I took advantage of the Union when I was working Civil Service for one reason, the sheer volume of regulations and rules that can get you fired will take years to learn, so having people that know those rules and regs handy was a highly useful tool.

That said, tax payers should not be subsidizing them to such a degree.

And if you had a shred of decency you would admit the previous corrupt administration is just as corrupt as this one. But you still have the Obama avatar so I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Last I heard man was not taking a salary now Bush and Cheney on the other hand had invested large amounts of their fortunes in big oil so when they caused oil to skyrocket to 100 dollars a barrel they were making out like gangbusters. Potus is not talking about private sector unions like hamsters or pipefitters unions he is talking about public sector unions that are using public monies to lobby their point of view which is wrong.

Great job, Mr President.

Everyone knows who's to blame for America's economic ills. It's the LEO working all the overtime he can to keep a roof over his head. It's the teacher working against parents and the school board bean counters to make sure her students get an education. It's the serviceman who doesn't know if today is the day he bleeds out on a distant roadside. It's the VA doctors and nurses who put the survivors back together.

That's why you must keep them down.

Everyone knows that the bankers and financial managers who caused the global economic crash in 2007 are a force for good.

That's why you are again deregulating the financial sector and unleashing their wonderful economic power.

Keep up the good work, Mr President. TPTB might hate you for it but the ordinary American working man appreciates what you are doing.
