Is Mueller dragging his feet to right the wrong as far as the POTUS is concerned ? If Trump is a clear and present danger then I see Mueller as the threat to our country allowing this to occur. Yup Mueller.

I don't subscribe to the entire narrative you were laying out, but this is one of the most solid points against the Trump-Russia collusion myth. If they had found evidence of such already, then it would be imperative to remove Trump ASAP to limit the damage he could do as "Putin's puppet". Mueller wouldn't be wasting time looking into every nook and cranny for relatively minor campaign violations if they had evidence of treason.

Think about it for a second. If he didnt work hard to get all the evidence of any and all things he can to make the best case he could would you accept it? Would congress? Would the Trump supporters accept it if its bad? Would the people convinced of his guilt accept findings that show Trump did nothing wrong? This isnt some one and done thing. If he is not perfect no matter the findings his job will be a failure and could cause far reaching problems.

I'm afraid you're the one not thinking. If they had evidence that this guy was a Russian puppet, it would be a priority to present it to Congress and get him impeached and removed ASAP. You'll never get enough evidence to convince all his supporters. Even confessed murderers have fans and groupies. And whether they could get him an extra 5 years for some vague financial crime would not be a concern. The concern would be to get him out of office as fast as possible before he could do more damage. The goal wouldn't be to drag this on for well over a year to make sure it impacts the midterms. Sorry, you're stuck with Trump for a while.

Trump himself knows he will not finish his term. That's why all the haste to do something "historic," like a big diplomatic coup. (And to pardon celebrity criminals.) You are right... he will probably be lucky and avoid jail time, but he may need to be forced to resign for that to happen.
