Riiiiighhhht.........Quillam founder Maajid Nawaz WASan Islamic extremist and member of Hizb ut-Tahrir, calling for the killing of Hindus, Jews in Israel and Russians in Chechnya.
But I guess he's still a global Islamic caliphate believer at heart?
You still haven't done anything to prove anything. The fact that Robinson is happy to be seen with sikhs and indians and jews makes him a very, very selective racist. Or, is it to do with his concerns over the ideology of islam and its incompatibility with western culture?
So far the only one looking intolerant is you.
Intolerant of racists. Yes I am and proud of it.
You just tried a version of the 'I'm not racist I have black friends card'
Nobody needs to say they're not racist anymore
The race card has expired
The lefts propaganda has fallen flat on its face
And you will be run out of whatever country you're in my dear lefty friends
War is coming

Not really a suprize that Trump cult on ATS supports Tommy Robinson. You guys rush to defend any neo nazi scum from USA to Europe.
There is a clear pattern here. Same people who support Tommy Robinson have also defended the neo nazis in Charlottesville.

a court case is going to fall apart because one man outside was filming himself.
You should try reading the actual reasons behind a lot of outrage by a considerable number of British posters here....

As defence are pleading for mistrial they can use Tommy's video and discussion of this on UK messageboards in evidence and gain acquittal as presumption of innocence was voided. It's also illegal to discuss (which is why newspapers don't have comment sections on legal cases) but unlikely to ever be pulled up and slander/libel.
Yes, the defence could use T Robinson's vid to get this sick group of people out on a mistrial.
Child rapists go free and you blame the guy filming himself outside. What nonsense. I fear the British brain has turned to oatmeal.
They weren't going free they were on trial. The person risking the trial was Tommy Robinson.
Then why the hell are people saying these people will go free?
Who is saying that?
As has been explained extensively by Bastion the UK has very strict rules on reporting trials in order to ensure a fair trial.
You can disagree with those rules or think them unnecessary however they exist and Tommy Robinson actions constituted a clear breach of them and risked integrity the trial. Assuming they are guilty he is risking then being let off on the basis they can't get a fair trial for his own self promotion.
Black pigeon claims it was the SENTENCING PHASE OF THE TRIAL, If I didn't mishear. Maybe I'm wrong, but sentencing phase seems like final step of the trial when sentence is given. If I heard right, and it is what is sounds like, it doesn't seem like he could influence, unless he actively engaged with jury prior to them sentencing, but if it was sentencing phase and the jury was already in, there is nothing to influence.
Tommy was reporting false information claiming sentencing was due that day according to court records. The case is ongoing, the next witness is due to give evidence in September (if the judge manages to find a way to avoid mistrial, nigh on impossible due to repeat offense severity of offense).
This had all been set in pre-trial hearings, Tommy could have asked the court or AG for a copy of proceedings and reporting restrictions if he wanted to report the case but avoid causing a mistrial. He failed to do this.
At 5pm on Friday the defence issued a plea bargain which will be heard on Tuesday, due to Tommy committing the alleged offense on a Friday and national holiday on Monday, granting them three days to get a claim together instead of one.
The actions will likely be declared to have caused irrecoverable damage to the case and cause a mistrial as the publication and content of his broadcasting would influence the sentencing. Hopefully that can be avoided but the rules of this are very strict.
Even if prosecuted they can appeal for acquittal as it fits all 'sensational, inaccurate and misleading' criteria that was precedent in 1991 Taylor sister case - when the Sun printed a headline saying "killer" mistress, with an arrow connecting the word "killer" to one of the sisters faces, this tiny act was enough to overturn conviction for murder.

what a pathetic country then. If you're a child abuser, just pay someone to go out of the trial and film, and you get off Scott free with mistrial. Ridiculous. From a country that takes freedom away for mere drawings, is a police state, and orders by force for babies to be killed against the wishes of their parents.
Disgusting nation. It needs to be dominated, and put under submission of a higher authority. For now, I hope they can cope with the chaos that will be unleashed from migrants once the global economy crashes. It is of their own making. If we're lucky their government will be destroyed by the chaos, and from the ashes a new britain can be built.

No it's basic English Common Law, best learning it if you want to claim to be standing up for English values and the common man, it's the same law prevent Tommy from having an unfair trial.
I don't hate him, just think he's a complete muppet who needs to stop causing trails of alleged sex offenders to collapse.
