“We are no longer interested in a negotiation that will be all about driving us into a corner and making a one-sided demand for us to give up our nukes and this would force us to reconsider whether we would accept the North Korea-U.S. summit meeting,” the first vice foreign minister, Kim Kye Gwan, said in a statement carried by state media. He criticized recent comments by Trump’s top security adviser, John Bolton, and other U.S. officials who have said the North should follow the “Libyan model” of nuclear disarmament and provide a “complete, verifiable and irreversible dismantlement.” He also took issue with U.S. views that the North should fully relinquish its biological and chemical weapons.

I told you guys not to buy into the roses and unicorn farts coming out of NK lately. All Kimmy did was wait for Trump to do something retarded as an excuse to renege on the talks, though I had bet it would be after they got something they want. Bet they still got something we don't know about yet, count on it.

Wish I could have bet money on this, it's stacking up to look like I'd make a fortune off it. Now we wait to see what NK got out of all this diplomatic hooplah, because you know damn well they got something they wanted behind closed doors already. Mark my words, it'll come to light eventually.

Anyone remember this thread? I think the OP's opening statement made sense. Holding these war games while trying to advance peace talks seemed counterproductive. Some comments in this thread from other members agreed holding war games wasn't very productive.

In light of recent events, Trump announced a halt to these war games. So, why are some of the same people who thought holding war games, while taking steps towards peace was idiotic, now claiming Trump never should have stopped the war games?

Some people should really read their comments in this thread. It's very telling how some people flip flop on this issue. Before the summit, Trump's an idiot for going forward with the war games. After the summit, Trump's weak for halting the war games. I guess it's true, some people will find a way to bash Trump no matter what he does, and here's the proof.

I agree some will never change no matter what takes place. I am truly fascinated by the behavior of some people. I think the word hypocrite is over used on this site, but there is no greater example then some of the people who posted in this thread.

I know. It's pretty sad and pathetic they are that way. I personally despised Obama, but I never once hoped he failed at anything. Jimmy Carter is absolutely thrilled Obama was president. THRILLED!!!!
