This can't be possible... I've been personally assured numerous times, by the delusional Trump worshippers, that Trump has this all under control.

I thought Trump had already waved his little magic wand and created a magical utopia of peace & prosperity between the Koreans and the West?

So, those among you who have disagreements with Trump are going to be rather self-righteous in your jubilation over this apparent backstep on the Korean Peninsula?

The North Koreans were expecting billions in cash, in exchange for halting weapon development. In other words, the same deal they saw Iran get. = at least one breeder reactor still online, and not limits on their ballistic missile development.

Trump withdrawing the USA from the Iran deal makes it look like he will insist on actual facilities inspections usw as part of any agreement.

Kim doesn't want anything to do with actually being held to his word. So he's done talking. Who is surprised. Trump just showed you what North Korea is made of---the same as Iran: Nuclear Blackmail artists.

the way i see it, people want north korea to have ICBM's because they have some mistaken notion that it will bring peace, that they believe north korea only wants peace and nuclear weapons are the only way to keep america at bay. not understanding that if they have nuclear weapons that can reach america, north korea will be able to blackmail america into backing off when they decide to use force to reunify korea or even if they decided to attack japan.

south korea is vital to american national security at this point, we truly cannot afford north korea becoming a nuclear power or unifying korea.

Trump has said entire time that he hopes it works out. Not once did he pretend like Obama that it would make it all better. I'm sure if we gave Korea 150billion it would make us all better. When Trump brought home 3 hostages people said Trump wasn't responsible.

But when North Korea threatens to walk away from the table. . . it's Trump's fault.

Trump should cancel his meeting based on the cancellation with South Korea. Moon has been doing most of the heavy lifting from the get go and this is a direct affront to him.

Every time there is a joint combat exercise the North has to come out and reject it. I don't think this case is any different. lil'kim needs to show his people that he's still the boss, and say things like this. I bet if trump came out and said that he was going to walk away from the peace talks, the North would buckle. They need this peace talk more than we do.
