In January, Mr. Trump’s lawyers gave Mr. Mueller several pages of written explanations about the president’s role in the matters the special counsel is investigating.

Grab the bait, the tackle, and lets troll the deep waters for the big fish. It been clear since the beginning that this is a fishing expedition, and Trump and his lawyers should refuse any and all questions of this sort.
How do you envision any of these questions a trap if honestly answered? He has not done anything wrong, correct?

You'll find the questions in the New York Times article. Too many to do a copy/paste here. The opening paragraph:
The special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, recently provided President Trump’s lawyers a list of questions he wants answered in an interview. The New York Times obtained the list; here are the questions, along with the context and significance of each. The questions fall into categories based on four broad subjects. They are not quoted verbatim, and some were condensed.

Some of those are designed to be a TRAP!
This is one instance where President Trump should do like Hillary did with questions that a Federal judge forced her to answer in 2016. Of the 27 questions, she answered 20 of them with, "I do not recall".

It's not called a fishing expedition unless you know there is something to be caught.
