Please point out to me where the OP comes to the conclusion of Javid being muslim by the colour of his skin? Nowhere. In fact the OP says "it's got nothing to do with skin colour". Stop slinging the term racist about when there is no basis for it. It's what you read into it not the OPs.

My guess is because his parents moved here in the 60's from Pakistan where it is 95% + Muslim.
He also has an Islamic name, so it's not an unreasonable assumption in my opinion.

I don't care if the guy is or not, I'll judge him on his actions and how he votes in the House of Commons. I'll probably have a look at his house vote history later, that is more important to me.
I don't share the OP's sentiments, for the record.

Or it could be just as likely his skin colour. The whole line in the OP just reads like “I’m not racist but.....”

And you’re right. It shouldn’t be about who he is or what he looks like. It should’ve 100% about what he does/doesn’t do while in office.

Now pull him up on his obvious issues with Muslim's but don't invent other alleged traits of the OP if his words do not support such an accusation.
Regarding his specfic posted words, I think he is irrationally fearing Muslims taking over Britain, and I think his claims are ridiculous.
But...I will not accuse him of racism as his posted words do not assert anything about any particular race, just people who follow the Islamic faith. So instead of searching for a term to label him, how about argue his points?

I can't be arsed arguing with him myself, I think he's paranoid about nothing, but I'll defend him from the racist label because he's posted nothing racist.

That’s exactly what the OP has done though. Even to the point of calling him a “closet M”.

His points have already been smashed to tiny bits. He’s British born and has stated he isn’t a Muslim. But that wasn’t good enough for some, including the OP. He’s a “closet M” or he’s “lying” as it’s “what Muslims do”.

You’re really just playing semantics; fearing “x” taking over country “y” is patently xenophobia/bigotry both of which are often short-handed as “racism.” Is the OP expressing racist sentiments, technically no. Is what he’s expressed any different in their basic contexts? No.

tl;dr whether your bogeyman is race/religion/ethnicity you’re still a terrible person.

Agreed, the OP clearly has issues with people who follow the Islamic faith. I think his fears are ridiculous, but as Islam is an ideology, if the OP has his tin-foil hat on then I see the idea of his 'conspiracy' theory.
I don't agree of course, but I cannot call him racist from what he posted in the OP. Irrational fear of Muslim takeover clearly exists. It is up to the rest of us to try educate such folk through our reasoned argument.
