Skip to 38 second mark if the rest of video means nothing to you. It's the only part that matters.

Elon Musk, investing/purchasing a Solar Company owned by friends/family is against the Law. His Shareholders have essentially filed suit against him. Bear in mind, this is not just stepping on toes. This is defrauding shareholders and can amount to wire fraud as well.

In the next few months. While I am not a stock adviser. I would make sure you do not own any of it. It's likely going to zero, and soon.

Not to mention all of the US tax dollars that were sunk into his companies will be lost too.

I don't understand how that's illegal. Can you explain it to me please? Please pardon my ignorance?

You invest 10k in my company as public shareholder knowing that my previous financials stated company is doing X, Y, Z, then I go and instead to A, but never told you about A, did not tell you A was owned by my brother/friends. did not tell you as well that A is losing $ and going under. It works like this, as a private company, you can go and buy anything you want with your $ just about. Use $ like that with a public company, one you have to actually publicly state its financials and how its doing/what its up to, that will land you in prison. It's not your $ to just spend however you see anymore.

That's why I am a sole pro, for example. I am not telling anyone ANYTHING, none of your f****ing business and I don't need/want shareholder/investor whiny B*** problems.

Me, too. Can´t see why this would be a problem. It´s called free market and even if Elons cousin´s decided to sell to Elon, why should that be a problem?

Edit: Please scroll down two posts before you consider staring this post any further because it´s a BS post. I did not have the big picture at that moment.

Thank you, I get it now.

I didn't realise he'd done it secretly without the shareholders nod.

I'm not sure what the last part of your post means but I'm guessing this angers you.

Bad timing for Elon after his company was the first organisation in the world to invent a workable, reusable rocket propulsion system....

Makes sense now.

I didn't realise he'd done it secretly without the shareholders nod.

I watched around 3 minutes of the video and didn´t hear that information.

While countless big oil and big pharma execs do literally nothing to help the world and humanity, even stifle efforts like Musk and the like who try to bring highly beneficial progress....and then accounting for the fact that these same execs commit far FAR greater illegal actions, not to mention ethical abuse...

Then there's the atrocious use of American tax payer dollars on b.s. that does literally # all for us, but those uses are largely ignored and lobbied for.

Okay, I get the last part now. You don't want shareholders telling you how to run your business. Sorry about that.

It does more than anger me, it infuriates me that I work as hard as I do to do the right thing by my customers and business partners. Then I see the slimy D bag raping everybody financially that has worked to get him where he is and people still praise him. it makes me want to vomit.

You cannot be serious.

Musk DID NOT START Tesla. That was someone else with a vision. Musk wanted to make $ like every other capitalist.

Only he has not made one dime and continues to shaft everyone including employees and now share holders.

That make the world a better place BS is all his selling you a rotting ham sandwich.

Actually, neither did I. I just took SR1TX's word for it as he understands the nature of the lawsuit. Bottom line, there is a lawsuit. Whether it goes anywhere or not, remains to be seen.

35 - 40 seconds.

"Shareholder lawsuit over companies take over of brothers Solar Company"

His own shareholders, not just customers, are suing him. This is what you call a White Collar Crime.

I understand, but the specific information that he said to do X but did Y, was missed by both of us, I also take your word for it.

You should have included that in your OP, because it initally reads

Elon Musk, investing/purchasing a Solar Company owned by friends/family is against the Law.

And thats a big confusion if you don´t know the other details (that you thankfully provided and we missed in the video).

Thank you for wording that so eloquently!

That was exactly what confused me.

we missed in the video

We didn't. The video didn't explain it properly. It just said Elon was getting sued by his shareholders for buying a family business.

He's also being investigated by the Securities and Exchange Commission for potential insider trading when he sold $2billion in shares prior to the announcement that a self-driving car had killed someone.

It was never a good investment anyway. Just because a company is ‘cool’ doesn’t mean they are a good place to put your money.

I did my best to not sound rude, as I know my directness can be seen as rude.

I did not go back to the video to check if it is there or not. So I went with "missed". Well in that case, some more content needs to be provided, preferably from the one who made the claim.
