I also think Nunes said he was going to specifically subpoena Jeff Sessions for Contempt of Congress for not providing information requested.

This one always bothered me. I've been a lawyer 25 years, and you always *start* with a subpoena when you're trying to find information. I don't get this "we politely asked and they ignored us so we'll politely ask again for the next 18 months" nonsense.

Issue a subpoena, give them 21 days, enforce it in court if they miss. Couldn't be easier. This is why we have subpoenas.

I also don't understand why Congress even has to subpoena any other branch of the Federal government. Turning over requested documents should be automatic, with built-in penalties. The "power of the purse" needs to be dusted off and used.

I've wondered about this too. IF Sessions is really a good guy...what would be the reasoning of all this? Maybe to drum of interest for said documents? I honestly don't know. I thought maybe you would understand the flip side (if there is one).

Schiffty has access to everything Nunes requests. Leaks are still a problem inside the HPSC.

Seems like we might get a little closer to knowing if Session can be trusted

POTUS is coming to UK for only 24 hours on Friday 13th July!!

If he goes to Jerusalem 14th then There's got to be some symbolism around Knights Templars being rounded up on Friday 13th July 1307, after all the crusades to capture Jerusalem!!
