The site has become infested with malware the last week or two.

There's a 4min pop up video everytime it says 'registered' in a post or other key terms to sell virus/dodgy re-imaging software. Getting several alerts from anti virus, blocking malicious links and data theft software. Over 99 hidden links/scripts on average pages - usually 12.

Are you on the same network as the server by any chance?

I see the load issues occasionally too and I'm pretty sure my tablet is squeaky clean. In general, I find something else to keep me occupied whenever a page load takes too long and get back to it when it's done.

It's been very slow for me in the last week or so also. It's stalls after loading about 10%-20% but does not always happen. It's never done this to me before and other sites seem to load just fine. I've tried cleaning cache which may have helped some but didn't cure the problem entirely. Today it's doing same so IDK whats going on. Interesting that others are having the same problem, apparently not a isolated problem to my computer.

Who is your internet provider.

I did a post a while back and it appeared several users here had comcast when getting slow performance

Comcast Chicago area here.

But ATS is the only affected site.

Nah, it's the same in Pa, I have penteledata (Lehigh valley area)
My android browser shows about 90-95% done, and then just hangs. Desktop from 2 different locations, 3 different computers is the same.
A few minutes later it seems fine.

I work in software development arena so I keep all my stuff top shape....

Seems to be happening across platforms as well.

Nope. No-script Suite Lite (for Opera) tells me that there are 30 scripts on ATS, and none of them looks weird. Maybe the Bank of America would fit the dodgy part though, lol.
Run C-Cleaner and a good malware protection like Adaware on your system right about NOW! Your system seems to be infected already.

On topic: ATS is slow due to the VPN I'm on, but it's quick and neat without.

Nope, I don't have comcast and keep up to date on my stuff. No problems on other sites. Very frustrating when it happens and I have to leave the site for a while it's so annoying.

I have had problems getting back into threads. Lots of "Network error" messages. But not like DoS attack as seen in the past. Now, I am zipping around just fine!

An increasing number of DOS (Denial Of Service) attacks are delaying the handshake between our PC/Phone/Tablet, and the ATS server. You will even get a "connection timeout" when the attacks are really bad.

Having the same issues too.

...are you monitoring the URL? whats your source on this?

Thanks but already do (use multiple AV, Antimalware, spyware, secure data etc, web protection to stop anything ggetting in, just ran a check and system is clear, they were my initial thoughts but suprisingly nothing has got in, though thouroughly recommend anyone experiecing this run the same as always a good idea.

This site is the only one on the web it happens, UK too so not down to US ISP's. The video adverts and text changes didn't appear on every psot and would bounce aruond when pages were refreshed with different key words selected to show video adverts for various products claiming to re-image a computer.

I'm on Opera too, was up to 99 ads/scripts on many pages yesterday, now 8 on this page and running smoother today - use Kapersky,Adaware which detected and blocked the links McAfee, CCleaner,RegEdit and spybot - nothing got past them but still get alerts of blocked cookied, malware, adware, data theft, data loss when refreshing pages.

Ongoing problem..pretty bad today.
