Li: It is the same principle that Western gods in paradise should not be seen by ordinary mortals because they cannot understand its meaning.

He's only a preacher, not a do'er. Guess he didn't get the memo about practicing what you preach.

TIME: What is the final goal?

Li: The ultimate purpose is to enable people to attain the Tao and to complete their cultivation practice. In the end they can free themselves from the worldly state. I know that human lives are not created from the dimension that human beings think they know.

Seems it would be more effective if someone wrote all the information down in a Gong For Dummies book and proved it to people by gathering the masses and poofed themselves away from this worldly state. That would sell way more books. Errrr did I say "sell"?

TIME: Why does the master reveal this path to the qigong now?

Li: Mankind has many things that it never knew before. What I can tell you is that human moral values are no longer good. In the course of the cultivation practice, one can upgrade oneself. Many people will be able to complete their cultivation and attain the Tao. There will be some who will not be able to complete cultivation but will become very good people.

People are no longer good.... So many people running around trying to sell their crazy beliefs to others for the purpose of money or god status self gratification.

TIME: Why did you come to New York?

Li: In China, the government is a centralized government. Because the number of our practitioners is large, the government may feel pressure.

Also... People are free to push their beliefs on suckers here and there is a sucker on every corner in the US.

TIME: It is difficult to teach in China?

Li: In China, there are more than 100 million who practice this.

Oh Oh.... Forget Russia! Look out for the army of levitating budda bellies that will soon take over the U.S. of A.

TIME: When did you learn about qigong?

Li: I started to learn when I was four years old. I was very young, and my teachers taught me aspects that were very simple.

TIME: Who were your teachers?
Li: I do not wish to have their names known.

TIME: What made you finally come out?

Li: When these masters asked me to come out. At the time I said that there were too many people practicing qigong, and I said that I did not want to cure illnesses or to help people keep fit. They said, What you do will be different. These people who are teaching how to cure illnesses and teaching fitness, are paving the road for your coming out.

TIME: Where were these masters?

Li: They were in the mountains.

Oh they were high up there, alright.

TIME: You talk about placing the wheel into the body.

Li: I can use my mind to direct and order things to happen.

Uhhh... So couldn't he just 'fix' us all from home without our participation?

TIME: Can qigong prevent death?

Li: In the West, one can reach paradise through cultivation practice after death. In the East, one can achieve a divine status through cultivation practice while one is still alive.

Oh snap! gods are racist bigots!

TIME: Why does chaos reign now?

Li: Of course there is not just one reason. The biggest cause of society's change today is that people no longer believe in orthodox religion. They go to church, but they no longer believe in God. They feel free to do anything. The second reason is that since the beginning of this century, aliens have begun to invade the human mind and its ideology and culture.

Oh hell... I'm so confused now...

The Falun Gong has always interested me. I knew it was associated with QiGong, but never saw all that paired with the words "alien agenda"

I thought Buddhism is about finding what you need internally, and that in fact there is no seperation between you and I or anything and we are just being, one moment unfolding to the next. This seems an odd school of Buddhism.

That was a solid contradictory statement. Which is true, scientific instruments can or can't detect these alleged things?

Reply: Falun Dafa has healed thousands of people the world over but it's not the goal of this system. This QiGong goes far above and beyond just healing and fitness things. Actually a book has been written about Falun Dafa's healing affects:

Reply: There are many QiGong schools that are only about healing and fitness things. Falun Dafa goes far and beyond that, it also heals but it's just actually a form of purification so that all pathogenic Qi is discharged from the body. This builds a foundation where one then is able to gradually acquire Gong (Spiritual Energy). This is all expounded in Zhuan Falun in detail.

TIME: What is the final goal?

Li: The ultimate purpose is to enable people to attain the Tao and to complete their cultivation practice. In the end they can free themselves from the worldly state. I know that human lives are not created from the dimension that human beings think they know.

Reply: Falun Dafa is completely free and open to practice, money is strictly forbidden. In Cultivation schools they never flaunt their abilities openly in public, then people would flock just to find how to get abilities and not truly Cultivate and improve and rectify their minds and hearts which is what all righteous Cultivation schools focus on.

Reply: In Dafa no money is involved, it's totally voluntary and theirs no organized structure. People take the practice up usually because of it's healing and rejuvenating effects:

Reply: Some scientific instruments can detect certain energies of Qi Gong Masters while others cannot yet detect them.

There are actually two excerpts from Zhuan Falun which talks about this point:

When we mention certain things some people blurt right out, "blind belief." Why do they do that? Their criteria for something being "blind belief" or "quackery" is that it’s whatever science hasn’t grasped, or whatever they haven’t experienced first-hand, or whatever they think can’t possibly exist. That’s their way of thinking. So is that way of thinking correct? Can you just dismiss something as blind belief or quackery just because science hasn’t grasped it yet, or just because science isn’t far enough along to explain it yet? Aren’t these people themselves full of blind belief? And aren’t they caught up in quackery? If everybody thought that way, could science develop?

Could it move forward? Society wouldn’t be able to make progress. The things that our scientific and technological community has invented are all things that people didn’t have at one time. If those things were all thought of as blind belief, then there’d be no point in talking about progress, right? Qigong isn’t quackery. But there are always a lot of people who think it is, since they don’t understand it.

But with the use of scientific instruments people have now detected on the bodies of qigong masters things like infrasonic waves, ultrasonic waves, electromagnetic waves, infrared, ultraviolet, gamma rays, neutrons, atoms, and trace metal elements. Aren’t those all concrete things? They’re matter. Aren’t all things made of matter? Aren’t other space-times made of matter? Could you call them blind belief? Qigong is for cultivating Buddhahood, so of course there are going to be a lot of profound things involved. And we’re going to explain all of them.

What’s "beyond the Five Elements" about? Our ancient Chinese physics and our modern physics both acknowledge that the Chinese theory of Five Elements is correct. Metal, wood, water, fire, and earth—these Five Elements form the myriad things in our universe. This is fact, and that’s why we talk about these Five Elements. When someone says that a person has gone beyond the Five Elements, in today’s language, it means going beyond this material world of ours.

Sounds hard to believe. But let’s think about something. Qigong masters have gong. I’ve been tested, and lots and lots of other qigong masters have been tested this way, too—tested for energy. A lot of the instruments that we have today can detect the material elements in gong, so in other words, if there’s the right instrument, the elements emitted by qigong masters can be detected. Nowadays the instruments can detect things like infrared rays, ultraviolet rays, ultrasonic waves, infrasonic sounds, electricity, magnetism, gamma rays, atoms, and neutrons. Qigong masters all have these forms of matter, and some other matter emitted by qigong masters can’t be detected, since there’s no such instrument. But as long as you have the right instrument these can be detected, and they’ve discovered that the matter emitted by qigong masters is extremely rich.

Under the effect of a special electromagnetic field qigong masters can have strong luminescence, and it’s really beautiful. The higher a person’s potency, the larger the energy field he projects. Ordinary people have one too, but it’s a really weak kind of luminescence. People who do research in high-energy physics think of energy as being things like neutrons and atoms. A lot of qigong masters have been tested. And all the qigong masters who are pretty well-known have been tested, in fact.

I’ve been tested, too, and they found that I emit gamma rays and thermal neutrons 80–170 times greater than the radiation of normal matter. At that point the needle of the testing instrument had hit the limit, and since the needle had hit the maximum point they couldn’t tell exactly how strong it was. Imagine, neutrons that strong—it’s just incredible! How could a person emit neutrons that strong? This proves that we qigong masters do have gong, it proves we do have energy. It’s been verified by the scientific and technological community.

Reply: This QiGong system is from the Buddha Law School of Cultivation but it's not Buddhism the religion. Here are two excerpts from Zhuan Falun that talk about this matter:

excerpt 1:

"Our Falun Dafa is one of the Buddhist system’s 84,000 disciplines. It’s never been passed on to the general public before during this period of civilization, but it did once save people on a large scale in a prehistoric age. Today I’m spreading it again widely during this final period of the kalpa’s end, so it’s just extremely precious."

excerpt 2:

"What we cultivate in our practice is huge, it’s not like all those ones that imitate animal movements. What we cultivate in this practice is just immense. Back in the times of Shakyamuni and Lao-zi, all of the truths taught then were just truths within the scope of our Milky Way. Then what do we cultivate in Falun Dafa? We cultivate by following the laws governing evolution in this universe, we take the highest nature of the universe—to be True, Good, and Endure—as the standard to guide our cultivation. What we cultivate is something so huge, it’s the same as cultivating a universe."

Also no money is involved, it's totally voluntary and people practice a set of Qi Gong exercises and try to adhere to the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. That's the core of the practice.

Erno, I recommend giving Zhuan Falun a read. I think you'd like it as it expounds on the origins of Zen Buddhism in great detail.

It's a semi interesting take on aliens controlling society to be tech driven instead of having heart..


It's not consistent though. For one just in the bit I read, the gods no longer do anything, so aliens are allowed to possess human bodies, and then also the gods are doing stuff like cleaning up all the other dimensions so aliens run here to hide..

Which one is it?

funny enough reading that was like talking to one of my exes. Oddly familiar for me. She was so out there I started believing in aliens again actually... She was very afraid of them.. Funny again one of the first things I said about things like this to her was "god is dead." Which is why I talked about the god part above..

I'll read some more later if just to pick it apart, or as a fun exercise in visualizing what aliens might be.. I've definitely been through some stuff that I can't make sense of for the life of me, but I'm done discussing it.. Oh gawd now I sound like the dude in the excerpts...

the guy is probably a narcissistic liar.. Many of these in the "spiritual" circles.
