I'd say that SWR has been inflated to legendary status, just like roswell,
without any credible evidence. (eyewitness accounts I like.. find useful..
but it's not enough to be "credible").

That was my point. Really my only point.

I'm reserving judgment on what's going on there.. would be helpful if i could go
take a looksie.

yes... whatever the Phenomenon is, it is either primarily EM/plasma in nature,
or as you say, the very least, is an expert at manipulating it... and as we are
largely elecro-chemical analog computers, it's very easy to manipulate us.

I may be taking a harder, skeptical sounding line these days.. but that's what it
took me to rescue myself from my encounter WITH the phenomenon.. or
maybe rescue myself from some form of technology.. but that's TBD.

Open-minded skepticism is not a bad approach, and I do understand the need to “extract” one’s focus from the Phenomenon for the sake of one’s wellbeing.

It’s a slippery thing, though, and it Seems As If it only lets Itself be studied when It wants to. Therefore, purely scientific data is going to be difficult, especially if it is intelligent enough to know when the Watcher is being Watched.

I dunno. I’m just connecting a few dots for myself here and there. That’s about all one can do.

I have some insight into what is going on out there. I've had similar experiences in my own life. I've come to my conclusions, my opinions, on what is happening there based on, again, personal experience.

You can't take that away from me.

Believe what you want. Don't expect me to follow you blindly either.

I'm throwing in my 2¢, which I am allowed to do.

You are perfectly entitled to an opinion of course

What threw me was you saying.

The problem with trying to quantify what goes on at this place is that people are trying to use very limited thinking to explain a multi-dimensional problem.....

That appears to me as if you are proclaiming it as a fact. If it's opinion fine. You've clarified it. Now what I'd like to hear more on is the insights you have to what is going on there.

This phenomenon at SWR, the San Luis Valley, and the National park 411 disappearances ala David Paulides seem to have an overlapping vibe to the occurrences. Skinwalker/trickester of the Native American tradition seems to call for the Shaman rather than scientist using the physical/logical explanations.

My old spiritual teacher asked me to study all the science.. about 30 years ago,
and i've been doing it ever since.

Personal note.. I don't talk about this.. but when i was still in the womb
(at some point in gestation) and for the first 6 or so years of life,
I had a "companion" --- and I mean "companion" just like on the original
star trek episode ( www.imdb.com... 0 ).

It felt like the source of all beauty, wisdom and love.. it felt 10,000 feet tall..
it never influenced me.. never spoke to me.. but I felt that it was alive.. and
wished me and all like me well. It didn't particularly like humans.. it did
adore animals.

When I turned 6 so, the beatings with rods commenced from my mother,
and the companion didn't "leave", but my brain turned mostly off.. in
self defense.

the "companion" came back intermittently during my teens, and came back
in full force, during the episode that I had to face the "Arcane School"
"high adept" in the public auditorium.

But the "companion" has been gone ever since that day.. I can still feel "it"
a bit on the edges.. but "It's" "elsewhere".

Why do I bring this up?

1) I'm definitely not a cold/hard/cynic. But I'm never again going to roll over
and let my brains drip out of my ears, and to believe any of the currently
fashionable deceptions.. or even any of the old ones.. from what I know
over 56 years of living with the "supernatural" it's not ANYTHING like any
of the rubbish people talk about.

2) The Phenomenon in many ways becomes what we want it to be....
so apparently moderns are nasty inside.. as it manifests that way.

3) In "Conversations with Star People", the shaman say "the good spirits
left".. well "my good spirit" left for the most part by 1967... so I guess
I can concur with what those shaman said. It's my experience too.

We are now stranded on this rock with the current "evil spirits" with
no help coming. We've crapped up the planet, killed off most of the
plants and animals, poisoned the very circle of life.. killed off much
of the oceans.. lowered global oxygen levels markedly... and followed
"false gods" (all gods are false). We are stuck with the mess we have
made.

Anyway.. none of that contradicts my desire to study anything and
everything with rational thought.. and if turns out that "my companion"
was actually just synthenasia/DID or something.. that's fine too...I
"worship" "truth" in whatever form it actually exists..even if its
unpleasant or inconvenient.

I think its like in "childhoods end" by Arthur C. Clarke.

If "it" came clean, we'd destroy ourselves utterly.

In "childhood's end" the human race goes extinct, due to
suicide and refusal to breed.. as they are so depressed
to learn their place in the Universe.

That's exactly what would happen to us.

From what I've seen, the only people who do well when
in contact with the "good spirits" are the ones who
know their place in the Universe and accept it willingly
and lovingly.

its not something that people can accept tho.. not
most people.. unless you are a world-class Buddhist
maybe.

I know what has happened to me and what I've seen. My experiences are subjective.

No matter what I say I won't be believed. That is the nature of this phenomenon.

Leave no or questionable evidence. You have to admit, it's a brilliant strategy.

I hadn't thought about it this way before.. I've been wondering for some time,
why the "golden age of UFOs" with all it's innocence ended.

But maybe it really is that the "good spirits" left planet Earth, because the
last generation of their friends, the native shaman, had finally been all killed
off.

If you read the stories, it's always the oldest natives who are the friends of the
"people from the stars / good spirits". And when they die, the relationship does
not seem to transfer to the younger generation.

Maybe it's only old people like me, who had the genuine experiences, and now
all that's left are the "feathered lizard deceivers", who try and manifest the
worst that highly emotional humans can think up.

When humans are highly emotional, hormones cross the blood brain barrier
and make possible interaction with these type of beings.

That's why shaman always get their audiences to a fevered pitch with various
methods.. drums.. chanting.. get them to let go their rational thoughts with
whacky tobacky.. it's always how it's been done..

and getting people to a fevered pitch of emotion works on ATS and in the
world with powerful stories designed to make people emotional with
existential hooks that threaten their sense of self..

it's negative reinforcement to get the emotions flowing.. thats how it works
these days..

I imagine that cold, hard to get emotional NIDS scientists didn't provide
much fuel for the phenomenon at SWR.

If there was/is a phenomenon there.. I have no personal knowledge of that..
JV never saw anything there, when he was on the NIDS board.

But there certainly might be.

Age of UFO's were based around core events (like Roswell) that were circa 1940's disclosures and some are even older than that.
UFO believers have linked retired Army Col. John Alexander to everything from military abductions to mind control.
SWR probably does deserve a Fair Use Act Disclaimer (its more focused than Roswell) we appreciate your contribution...

1) No evidence.
2) No chain of custody.
3 No easily interviewable witnesses.
4) Intelligence operatives and their cohorts are a major source
of the folklore.
5) There is no other place on Earth (that I know of) with this
wealth of truly fantastic stories.
6) The site was used to test human psychological reactions.

1. mutilated cow, magnetized corral, missing livestock, missing beloved pets, cameras observing each other disabled without anything seen, etc, etc.
2. Yes there is. You just don't have access to it ... plus you said there was no evidence. Why would you have a chain of custody without evidence.
3. Have you tried?
4. Who?
5. Very true and frustrating for skeptics like myself.
6. That's an interesting hypothesis, but some things were beyond human.

Curious what connection you have to the ranch. You replied to me earlier in this thread kind of cryptically after I speculated on some names that may be currently involved, whether in the investigation or Jeremy's movie

You could say a lot of "yes", a lot of "why muddy the waters?" and don't don't doubt yourself.

1. No evidence that we or neutral scientists have access to.
2. No chain of custody that we or neutral scientists have access to.
3. I interviewed Jacques one of the lead scientists who worked there.
he wanted to say a lot.. but didn't say much at all. Most people
never get even that opportunity.
4. I't's a long explanation.. but it's true. I'm not going to go into that one.
5. you didn't disagree.
6 It was a major purpose. I have some verification from an involved party.

I's POSSIBLE that there are things "beyond human" there.. but none of us,
or any neutral parties can know whether it's true or not. Not at this time.
maybe the new owners will have something to share that's usable.

I have had many paranormal experiences in my time, all of them being good experiences and i am very grateful for every experience i have had, i don't believe in evil spirits, evil is a HUMAN thing in my eyes but saying that, this is one place i would love to visit but also the only place on earth that would scare me.

So having Mr. Springer being part of a documentary on the ranch is bloody amazing, cannot wait for it.

there used to be an old member called "hiii" or similar who had great stories about the ranch

For a little fun and to show off an example of one of the night vision systems we had at our disposal I figured I'd post a shot of the only Skinwalker we got a picture of...

Maybe, but any time you can get an "A" lister attached to a project; it becomes much more financially viable.
Perhaps there's a spot for Tom Delonge as well!!!

I wonder if there's a place for an ageing AD or DP?

Well that's the thing. Humans are corrupting. it's a very well-known concept
going back thousands of years in both the eastern and western systems.

I just learned yesterday, that 61% of all women in the state of alaska
are raped in their lifetime, and Alaska has 5 times the national
child rape percentage.

I imagine there are millions of really good people in the world.. but
there are plenty who have created all this "evil".

And of course much that is "good" that people sense, is just wishful
thinking.

but I wouldn't take happy delusion from anyone....

I have to admit there is an uncanny likeness in that photo though.

Anyway good luck with the release of the documentary film. I am looking forward to it.
