Listened to that live on Hannity's show. Sounds like Hannity just threw Cohen under the bus and made a case that none of their communications are confidential.
Cohen was never officially retained and Hannity never was billed / paid for anything. Casual conversations / questions on legal issues is what the discussed.

Really ? TV under the control of the president who tweets out teasers and trailers like a carnival barker? Then that TV show tears down every federal agency that has a hand in investigating trump. Becomes state TV blaring out the rhetoric to destroy those agencies.
I can't believe the blindness. But what ever....

If he wasn't officially a client there is no attorney-client privilege. Being billed is irrelevant to the matter, a free consultation is still privileged. Hannity is making the claim that he was just asking general legal questions, not questions related to his legal situation.

Doesn't mean the material wasn't on the warrant only that they want to claim attorney client privilege on some of it. I'm pretty sure everything about the warrant was to the letter and air tight. This is the biggest case probably in history and you think Mueller is suddenly going to get careless?

Hannity released an official statement saying he was not a client. He never officially retained Cohen as a lawyer and never received any bills or made any payments.
