I was just saying the other day to my beloved ( *wink wink* ) that one of my lifelong dreams is to travel to antarctica. Unfortunately it requires flying to Chile then hopping aboard a boat. Still.

Pretty sure I read in New Scientist a decade ago about joining expeditions as a non-scientist.

I used to color my hair when i was younger. Once it was this purple-black thing, very dark but in the right light it was purple. I also used earrings and necklaces and so on. I got attention from men often. Offers to come over to "drink red wine and have a good time" I was always flattered by that, but i had a nice girlfriend at that time so i skipped the wine and "good time".

My peers think I am nuts when I mention my taste in "power" music. Techno is one too. Of course I lived in Europe for so long I am dipraved compared to the protected rural "natives" here.
The Voice was a favorite station to listen to.

Another European thing. Men with colored hair make up and jewelry, bet they would lynch them here on the spot. Instead the classical look for gents here is a well tended beer belly arm hanging off silver back hunched shoulders, crew cut, as if they served or just went through flee treatment. A perpetual frown that only is erased when they spot one of their female conterparts scantily clad so one can see all thier "tires" and attachments. Yoga pants are very popular now.
They are so predictable any deviation is crushed by the "clan" syndrome.

I have rested for two days now and feel much better, not back on the horse yet but putting my boots on.

I am an Ailurophile as many of us, in here, are guilty of. Some people find it offensive and repulsive. I for one think there should be room for all our "tendencies" We should accept each other and express absolute tolerance.

Feeling wonderful today so I am embracing that. My computer is fixed, listening to music, have my online friends and colored my hair. Anxiety and depression are not here today. It is good!
