If she shot herself in the chest, it must have been a handgun. it seems odd to kill herself with a chest shot. But a female shooter is unusual to.

Looking like she was after the boyfriend, but their not confirming if he was.

The shooter killed herself. Gee, it would have been great if she did that earlier before more people were shot because someone on the premises had been able to confront her with a gun, like the Maryland school shooter was.

Yikes what? Did you look at the spreadsheet 1998-2015? How many of those 54 places do you think that a) were TARGETED because they were somehow *explicitly* gun free zones and b) were likely to have people who would have been carrying a concealed weapon and have been able to stop the shooting?

According to the pie chart, 3.8% — 2 of the 54 — locations were gun free zones. I'm wondering how they came up with this figure just looking at the locations:

A forest (on a hunting trip) sound gun free? Maybe they were hunting with knives. Another one is a super market parking lot. Think that one was posted gun free zone? Then there's a home, an apartment, another home and wait, another home. Did these home owners post their homes as gun free zones? There's an Economy Inn, a Coffee Shop, a barber shop, a salon, etc.

You have to wonder what the "gun free zone" criteria is here because the percentages don't really seem plausible.

The idea that "gun free zones" cause mass shootings is on its face stupid. In almost EVERY SINGLE mass shooting, the location was chosen for a specific reason having nothing to do with whether or not it was a "gun free zone." Workplace, school, church, Pantera concert, homes, these places aren't selected as "soft targets" because most of the time the shooter specifically wants to kill the people at that location.

I think that is the problem a lack of empathy across the board some gun people get so defensive paranoid every gun massacre will lead to their precious being taken away so they care not for the people being killed.
Guns will not be taken away from decent sane people.
Maybe that is why some are so afraid they are not decent nor sane.
