Ah early 90's nostalgia time, this track makes the hairs stand up on my arms even now. It takes me back to days when everyone was only drinking water in clubs and sharing it with strangers, all loved up together with equally dilated pupils as each other. Fantastic times, iconic track, if only I had a time machine...

This, to me, is an iconic track from my 90's days with many special memories. The mix of colours in the video, predominently orange and pink are perfect in my opinion, it is an orange groove.

Yes it is lmao, it can be tasted as that, beautiful. her voice makes it all just as you said

I'm going full on early 90's nostalgia right now, this is another favourite, I danced my tits off to this at clubs and illegal outdoor rave parties. This still brings folk out bobbing around with grins on their faces to this day. There are some excellent remixes and I often hear elements of it sampled on new tracks, but I've chosen the original, although not the extended version...

I was in a very good place in my life situation when it was getting radio airplay, used to sing and dance to it with my mate while working lol

This is a deeply emotional song to me by the artist Hazel O'Connor, 'Will you'. It is featured in a British movie from 1980 called 'Breaking Glass' which is about the music scene culture and gritty darkness of that period of history in Britain. I'll post the movie as well if anyone is interested and has some spare time.It sums up what piss poor, violent, 80's Britain was like.

And the movie...

EDIT
The lyrics I've identified with many times in my life...
You drink your coffee,
I sip my tea,
And we're sitting here, playing so cool,
Thinking, 'What will be, will be.'
And it's getting kind of late now,
Oh, I wonder if you'll stay now,
Stay now, stay now, stay now,
Or will you just politely say 'Goodnight'?
I move a little closer to you,
Not knowing quite what to do and I'm
Feeling all fingers and thumbs,
I spill my tea, oh silly me,
It's getting kind of late now,
I wonder if you'll stay now,
Stay now, stay now, stay now,
Or will you just politely say 'Goodnight'?
And then we touch, much too much,
This moment has been waiting for a long, long time,
Makes me shiver,
Makes me quiver,
This moment I am so unsure,
This moment I have waited for,
Well is it something you've been waiting for,
Waiting for too?
Take off your eyes,
Bare your soul,
Gather me to you and make me whole,
Tell me your secrets,
Sing me the song,
Sing it to me in the silent tongue.
It's getting kind of late now,
I wonder if you'll stay now,
Stay now, stay now, stay now,
Or will you just politely say 'Goodnight'?

I love movies like this one, half way through it right now

the songs in this movie are awesome, not like when the singer is just faking it but the real thing and that makes it magical because she really is so good

World seems so different these days but i always have been very interested in punk and movies from those years, i also watched one named Dogs in Space from Australia, and a few others i can't remember right now, Suburbia i think was one, with Flea the bass guy from RHCP

As a side note there are places where the world is more or less the same even now, poor and violent and drugs and stuff, it just changes a bit but truly is just the same behind

Top tune mate

If my key years of youth and young adultood hadn't been the 90's I'd choose the 60's
I'm at the beach in my head whenever I hear this!

Ah, glad I posted it now

It's accurate about how Britain and the music was back then, one of my favourite gritty Brit flicks.
...and yes, some parts of the world definitely still are like that.

The beach boys are interesting particularly the part where Charles Manson comes into the picture.

They are legends of their era, good post, thanks!

The 1940's song is so lovely, they really got the feeling. Do you happen to know what the name of the song they play is?

I don't what the name of the song is but it's a classic, I liked that one too. If I come across the name i'll post it here.
