Actually the most eyebrow raising thing I noticed was this:

So, does the FBI employ many journalists that work in television news? I don't see how his two career goals mesh unless he knows something the rest of us don't.

The black armband is a traditional form of showing mourning. Perfectly acceptable. I dont think the Nazi word black arm bands. They wore red with a swastika.
I'm pretty sure I heard him support the second and is looking for gun control not abolishing the second or taking your guns.

I agree that it is fallacious to paint groups of people with such broad brushes. It does not facilitate intelligent discussions.

On the other hand, it is also fallacious to make comparisons to a Nazi state. While we may be able to find points of comparison with the Nazis and current situations, that could be said about a wide variety of issues and only serves to shut own intelligent discourse through the use of hyperbole.

Yes, because why study history and learn from previous mistakes, then prevent those mistakes from recurring; much easier to just live it all over again! /s

That is irrelevant to the point I was making, except that it highlights the fact that reason and logic are tossed aside in favor of dramatics and hyperbole.

All I said is that painting with such broad brushes is illogical. How you came up with that meaning we should not learn from history is beyond me.

You may want to have a glance at Hitler’s Mein Kampf. Where you claim hyperbole, the Left sure seems to be using Hogg to implement propaganda tactics eerily similar. Then again, would that be too much of an honest conversation?

He shot a video at the school www.latimes.com... Went home and went back that evening after six. The info came from two separate articles.one talked about how he was home and rode back to the school so he could get interviews. The other about him shooting the video while in a closet during the shooting. Somehow the two stories got mixed up. Or on purpose to vilify and make him a liar.
The info is out there for those who actually care to be correctly informed.

Neither. After six he was allowed on school property though of course not inside but he didn't need to go inside.

I have suggested in many threads that the final move that sealed the fate of the Jewish people under Hitler was the removal of their weapons, but Hogg is far from the only one advocating for gun control. He is simply the last in a long line of such, and if this thread proves anything it is that he is a typical, angry, frustrated teenager. If there were a comparison to the Nazis of WWII Germany, it would be more apt to point it at the management of CNN who are using him to spread propaganda to accomplish their goals.

All his Reddit posts do is to discredit the MSM-instituted facade that he is somehow mature for his age, to the point that he should be accepted without question, even when addressing adult topics.

As for the "coming for yer gunz" comment (insulting misspelling noted), with all the people associated with these so-called kids yelling "Its time to take the guns" I think the feeling is well founded. Moreso than any defense of this kid will ever be. I guess that is the difference. I have a reason to feel the way I do and it is grounded in fact.

He has described himself as leading a movement - a movement to save kid’s lives by taking certain actions, including voting for representatives in government who will pass certain gun restrictions. Obviously, everyone can vote for whomever they choose. He has no power in forcing anyone to vote against their will.

If you or others don’t agree with the gun legislation he and his fellow youth activists are proponents of, that’s fine. Argue the proposed legislation. Vote for your representatives in government who will not pass any gun restrictions. Why all the conspiracies to demonize him as a liar or a Nazi/fascist? You guys get all mad about the Russia stuff and Trump, saying it’s all made up to make Trump look bad. How are you guys any better with all this “Nazi” crap attributed to this kid?
