Trump was propped up by the party and religion who have historically repressed sexuality, sex work, and secular pride. It's like their centuries of enforced values are meaningless when faced with this marmalade ball of chaos.

Only #maga culture could possibly mix that strange cocktail of defending sexual freedom and punching down at the same time, of simultaneously having fundie Christians defend adultery while still harming others over the "sanctity of marriage". Such bull #.

The selective outrage is palpable.

Religious people voted for Trump, some voted for hillary.

Some are hypocrites that thought trump was pristine, they were wrong or willfully ignorant.

But does that excuse the other side being hypocritical and now all of the sudden pretending a consensual affair is a huge deal, when they refused to look at those things (rightfully so) under past democrats?

I don't know any liberals who are "outraged" at the fact Trump is sleeping with adult film star; that was sort of a given. I think the exasperation (what you have mistaken for outrage) is from the double standard.

I hate to break it to you, but liberals being outraged by double standards is not going to draw much sympathy.

That very well may be true, but there is a growing movement among Conservative Christians that are totally fed up with Trump. My mother 85, baptist, Republican, conservative and her friends can't even stand to watch him on TV.
