Georgia isn't too bad, they're slightly above par and much better than most.

That's why we go there! We can't stay long, though, something about lower standards or something...

Well, going there and living there are too different things when it comes to milking the rest of the states.

Do you have a Ferrari or live in a McMansion? If so, we're coming to visit.

I have a 2010 Ford Sport Trac and live on a 62 acre farm. Just cut all my pine trees and have started planting more... come on!

While I'm generally more fiscally conservative and think this should be reined in, does South Carolina deserve a small Applause here?

I mean as long as the federal government is making it rain shouldn't the states try and get as much of it as they can? If I was a resident of SC I'd think my reps were doing a good job for my state.

I'm sure if I was a resident of the Great Take of South Carolina I'd be thrilled.

But I'm not, so I want my Benjamins back.

I think your beef is with the irs?

They took your money and plan on keeping it as far as i know?

Do you see any way within reason to fix the problems.

Surely since the king of debt just signed a 2.6 t yr bill you see now he is not the answer.

Great thread topic you found.

You could always take up residence in SC and stop paying taxes to your Bruce Springsteen fanboy governor. I'm sure he'll still get a beach to himself and all the bridge closings he wants without your Benjamin's.

The IRS hasn't taken anything from me that isn't taken from everyone else, they aren't the ones creating the fiscal policy, they are merely the collection apparatus for the Federal Government so we can dump truckloads of money on those other states.

Dilly Dilly South Carolina!

Fatty Boombah isn't our gov anymore.

And I may just move there, the wife went to USC and she loves it there. Must have been all the free cash they hurled at her to go to college.

Oh so you are pro unconstitutional corporations robbing you and the rest of the lot to give to graham and the rest of the states on your list.

My point is that would it not be more feasible to tackle one single issue of illegal taxes vs taking on individual states accepting bribes?

After all what would be in place to stop future robbery and bribery if the illegal collecting of monies is still accepted.

None of it gets resolved without addressing lobbying by corporations and special interests.

Great thread Augustus,

I am surprised by California's numbers.
I would have thought they would be
much worse on the taking side.

You may know?

Is there any way to set aside the 1st and 2nd before entering into such.

Can they be taken off the table completely?

imo If that is possible then many states would join quickly.

From the discourse here I would have thought so. They are obviously fairly self-sufficient when it comes to Federal Tax use.

I don't think there is, once the door is opened everything may be on the table. The last thing I want is horse-trading over the Constitution.
