The girl was his daughter, they have also closed a nearby restaurant (where they had eaten) and also a pub (not heard if they went for a drink in there but am assuming so) also they have now handed over responsibility to the Counter Terrorism team.

You wanted to know what May and her Cabinet were doing about "it" (and we do not know yet what "it" might be) so seeing as how BJ is both in her cabinet and is Foreign Secretary and has stated the Govt's position to the House what more could you reasonably expect at this stage?

What I recall it would spray two substance that would hit the person in the face, they would mix and turn to gas,lethal gas that was very very hard to detect.

I tried finding the post I read on it complete with pictures of the duel barrel basic looking aerosol gun but all my searches today came up dry...kinda weird...

The heart-attack gun was supposed to be a microwave beam that would disrupt the electrical signals of the heart. It was discovered back in the 1970's in Sweden, when large numbers of forest workers were having sudden heart attacks. After investigation it was found that the emissions of a large radar station were being focused into the mountain valleys.

I totally agree with you, when Litvinenko died the goverments reaction was a joke, there is a number of strange deaths of Russians here in the UK that needs a tougher response too. If this is the FSB then what on earth is MI6 doing!! How are they able to operate with inpunity here in the UK. Pretty sure carfentanyl was the synthetic opoid used to knock people out in the miscow theatre hostage raid - was an opoid one up from fent at least - released into the air vents to knock out terrorists/hotaages prior to raid but caused many to die from OD. Though AFAIK it'd be easilly detectable.

That said I think the Russian involvement claims are too soon - while it fits in with recent ongoings, May's recent speech saying 'we know what you're doing and will not succeed, Putin's iron fist 'democratic election' policy and prior attempts (parcel story sounds very intriguing, as well as family deaths) - time will tell and the police/health guidelines for no wider public concern or contamination seem worthy of investigation (could be something, could be nothing).

Not that we can do anything either way - Russia can just cut off gas and as it's bought out all nearly all our critical hospital, defense, oil/gas, energy needs for the last 15 years can cripple the country in three days if it wanted too.

Still fingers crossed all recovery and through investigation yeilds results.

Beat me to to it while posting mine - yeah 99% sure - there was a ch4/UK/dispatches type documentary exploring the chemical a few years back saying higher analogues but way before fent and carfent became publo9ic knowledge (likely culprits due to potency). Will dig it out.

BBC radio 4 interviewed a few Russians today and to be honest I wish the interviewers would have just told the Russians to fk off after they claimed British media was demonising Russia and that chap might have just had a heart attack
