WASHINGTON — Special Counsel Robert Mueller is assembling a case for criminal charges against Russians who carried out the hacking and leaking of private information designed to hurt Democrats in the 2016 election, multiple current and former government officials familiar with the matter tell NBC News
Mueller's consideration of charges accusing Russians in the hacking case has not been reported previously. Sources say he has long had sufficient evidence to make a case, but strategic issues could dictate the timing. Potential charges include violations of statutes on conspiracy, election law as well as the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. One U.S. official briefed on the matter said the charges are not imminent, but other knowledgeable sources said they are expected in the next few weeks or months. It's also possible Mueller opts not to move forward because of concerns about exposing intelligence or other reasons — or that he files the indictment under seal, so the public doesn't see it initially.
Analysts believe the most important aspect in The Forensicator’s report is the “estimated speed of transfer (23 MB/s)” at which the documents were copied. Analysts say it’s “inconceivable” the DNC documents could have been copied at such speed from a remote location.

Not a lot of details here really, most of this could be deduced from what has been reported previously, but this is the first whiff of charges coming down the pike in the very near future.

I'm going to go out on a limb (no, not really) and reaffirm my earlier predictions that there will in fact be charges brought by the Mueller team in regards to the Russian hacking/phishing of the DNC/DCCC/Podesta. Despite what people who follow the cryptic cold reading mumbo jumbo of "Q" may be inclined to think, forecasting some of these things ain't rocket science folks. In most cases, the writing is on the wall well in advance. It also helps if you ignore just about everything Sean Hannity "reports."
Especially intriguing are these words: “and their co-conspirators.” The words are repeated in all counts, in reference after reference to the named defendants. That repetition signals that this indictment presents only half a picture. Yet to come is the mirror image — the identification of and charges against co-conspirators.
Like the already-named defendants, those co-conspirators will be charged with knowledge of alleged crimes, unlike the “unwitting” persons whom this indictment says they exploited. And while resistance to international extradition may shield indicted Russians from US prosecution, it seems likely that some of the alleged co-conspirators will be Americans, fully subject to trial in the United States.

Then I'm going to call bull on that analysis. A quick search shows that the average download speed in Moscow is 22 mbps.
