You'll love mine.
In my timeline, Challenger happened in 1984. I was in junior high school, I know who the teacher was, and I watched this person so cool, he made Spock look like an emotional trainwreck nearly kill himself trying to get the TV to the front of the class and get it turned on.

In MY 1986 timeline, there was nothing really of interest. I almost failed driver's ed, stuff like that. No shuttle blew up.

Unfortunately, I have 2 years I simply cannot account for between my Challenger and this timeline's Challenger.

Welll it’s about time somebody else knows the challenger disaster was 1984.

I’m not missing any time though.

You too??? How long have you known? I found out a few months ago.

I think I found out about a year ago. I was like WTF?
It’s pretty much my only M.E.

I was following the story of the schoolteacher leading up to it. They were showing her family, her schoolchildren all cheering her on. So sad. It was back when we only had a handful of channels. On my little 14” tv. By 1986 we had gotten a big 37” tv and lived in another house. I watched it live and thought uh oh I’m not sure that’s supposed to happen. They said the rocket booster failed to separate.

I have so many other memories surrounding it.
That was when the big joke about what does NASA stand for? - Need another Seven astronauts, as well as other jokes in poor taste.

I should mention we are not alone on this one. I found out when I took a look at a Mandela’s effect website . I was stunned it was one, others aren’t sure what year it was.

What about the ME for all those who believed there was real Santa and Easter Bunny. Then one day they are not real...

Exactly. Junior High was nothing but 'Head and Shoulders' jokes. One twit in particular.

Shazaam was a real movie, no doubt in my mind, I was young in the 90's, but old enough to know who Shaq was (i had his orlando jersey) and I always thought it was strange they made 2 genie movies in such a small timeframe. When I told my friends Shazaam never existed, they were all in disbelief. I personally do not buy into the idea of conflating Kazaam with Shazaam, it would be like mistaking a Jackie Chan movie for a Bruce Lee movie that never existed, just because the movies had a similar name with a similar premise. For there to be SO many people certain of Shazaam's existence, and having vivid memories of it, tells me that something is off, as for going to another timeline, you could travel in a vessel through a wormhole, that's my guess.

Just a thought. It seems at times a shift in dimensions is indeed a reality. What I have experienced in my 64 years of life has made me wonder on this issue. I once sat down and mapped out the possibility of conquering a single world using multiple dimensions. If you can deliberately hop timelines, I would have to assume you could move forward and backwards along each line. As you take note of each outcome on each world, based on historical figures noted in each society, you could move a strong personality where once his or her counter part was weak or visa versa. You could in a real sense mold a weak or a strong nation by systematical placing and replacing key individuals. At the end of each outcome evaluate and readjust. Indeed a race could deal with multiple dimensions without making noticeable ripples to the peoples living along each line. One could site the star Trek episode where Kirk had to let a woman die in order to correct history, or even the Old Slider episodes, but they are only a simple ideas for a complex approach in a slow manipulation to a desired outcome. I understand why someone would feel the whole idea of dimensional slippage would be a mental manifestation, indeed many probably are. But even those could be a silent awareness of the fluid nature of time and space.

I think it was Sagan who said, we, mankind, are just the universe standing up and taking a look at itself. I agree to certain levels; Thus our place in universal themes are the witness of all that is, making all that is, real.
So if time, space , energy, gravity are all relative, then we, the universe looking upon itself are relative in that same formula. Since one can become the other in another state, then it is conceivable, the part of us which is immortal can perceive beyond the restrictive mortal state.
None of this violates what I understand of God, I know He uses natural law (Which He is not bound by) to obtain His desired outcomes. But each of us have to decide for ourselves what we believe and be brave enough to grow from one truth to the other.
Love the journey to knowledge, keep up the good questions.

There is no other timeline.

Sometimes people have to try to accept that maybe
..maybe...this is all there is. One life. One universe. One death. No actual meaning ro life apart to breed like any other species.

There is nothing wrong with dreaming....bur reality...this is it....nothing has any real meaning.

I know someone that can gift you knowledge beyond human limits.

That's great.

ATS members have been looking for this someone.

They only do so if you solve a puzzle though. Let me know if you want to try.

Why haven't you started the thread yet?

Well, I'm intrigued- I need some answers well past what most on here want. Mine has been a quarter century unwanted tour of HELL.

I tend to disagree. There's stuff I wouldn't believe at all- but it happened, and I think reality just ain't. There was once a time where woo, UFOs, multidimensional shenanigans, time travel, etc was best enjoyed in a good sci fi novel/ movie or 100.

I have been spending 27 years (more, thanks to Challenger) trying to figure out WTH is going on with me- and just being tetched in the head is no longer a viable explanation. Problem is, concrete explanations aren't there, either. Pretty much "Well, I'm proven not to be completely insane, but, why/ HOW is (insert weirdness of the day) happening???"

The problem with that is that what we call "us" is a construct or matrix of energy in a particular form. If we change states enough, yes, we are still energy but in an incoherent state. I need a brain to think. If it is damaged or decays, I can't think anymore, and "cognito ergo sum" goes right out the window. I no longer am able to stabilize the holographic universe for myself or anybody else, and my chunk of it is deleted from the rest of consensus reality.
