Look at this chart. USA isn't anywhere near the top when you break it down like this. Interesting.

what about the people who were killed by other means? As has been said at least once, if you can't find a gun, but you really want to kill someone, you will find a way.
Murder rate in the UK is far lower than in the US. If you make it harder to kill (less guns), less people get killed.

Why would Americans be more aggressive by nature? ( and if you think they are you have never been an old firm game).
Is one of the reasons US police are more aggressive due to the far higher likelihood of being shot? Armed police in the UK are the exception because armed criminals are the exception.
Americans are bigger, stronger, meaner than brits...nasty creatures...that's why you all lost the war...twice...lol

how about this angle. With the population of the UK being such a large percentage lower than the US, it stands to reason that there are less crazy folks over there. So with an exponentially larger number of lunatics here, we have a more prevalent society willing to kill others, rather than be sane and not kill others. (like most sane people do)
I think it's important to understand why the numbers are like they are.

that is a good comparison. The loony left in CA compared to the loony left in the UK. As with most things, we win there as well. You blokes were too busy eating fish and chips.

Yea. Like when we say, those blokes across the pond are fairly normal. (normal is a relative term, or as I say, a setting on the dryer)
In case you were lost in un-humorville, I was joking. Just assume I am the bad guy and move along.

You ungrateful colonials only got your independence because of the French. How embarrassing relying on the French.

What is a normal American?
On Gun control surveys tend to show a near even split between for and against tighter rules.
You had a near 50/50 split at the last presidential election.
