Woman Claims To Have Been With Florida School Shooter (Nicholas Cruz) At the Time of Shooting.

Alright ATS, this is where some people get lost (I admittedly am one of them) and I know there are people here who are much better at getting to the bottom of things better than I can (I really do try, but am not always sure of sources at times) Can ANYONE find out any more about this? WHAT am I hearing from this girl? Who is she? How do we find out if she was really there?

None of what I am asking takes away from the deep felt sorrow I feel for the families of those who were so senselessly murdered, my heart goes out to each and every one....I am only asking for help in trying to verify whether this girls claims are backed up by others? Could there have been 2 shooters?

Could she pass a drug test right now?

So, she remembers him being troubled in middle school, but didn't know he'd been expelled? As if she would say that to his face. I really am questioning the way she smiles during the interview as well. Doesn't aid your credibility sweetheart.

So this girl just jokes around with people while her classmates are being shot and killed? Seems like a really strange way to deal with a situation like that, especially when she doesn't seem to care or know that the kid was expelled from school and wasn't supposed to be there in the first place, yet there she was talking to the alleged shooter and joking to him about not being the one shooting people. He wasn't allowed in the school but was somehow allowed to evacuate with the other kids? Yeah, sounds legit.

The guy asked if she was scared and she says "no, because there was another shooter involved". What kind of reason is that to not be scared? Sounds like she's lying to me but I'm just some guy on the internet.

A) As pointed out, she is bizarrely cheery about the massacre that just took place with a dozen plus injured and 17 of her classmates dead.

B) Trauma does do strange things to people's recollection.

C) The shooter, as I understand it, did escape and was arrested in a neighboring town, which comports with him blending in with the exiting students.

Will research this girl a little.

She has a twitter and she is from the area of the shooting.
Her FB stops in 2013 with some cursing and a pic of her giving the finger.

There is other reporting on her claims and this video.

I think she is more attention oriented than a credible witness or analyst.

At best her understanding of two shooters is based on how far away she thought the gun-shots were and the time between when she heard them and saw the shooter.
In those scenarios, time is difficult to measure.

at worst, she didn't see the shooter at all and made up the story to get on camera, thus the bizarre smiling and unmistakable good vibes she shows at receiving the attention.

As far as a second shooter? No,there was only one. I live an hour north of where this happened and watched a good bit of live coverage as it was happening. There was quite a few kids who were certain it was the suspect.At one point the reporters had to stop the kids from saying his name. Not once did I hear a claim of a second shooter.

Yeah, she has a creepy ear-to-ear grin between 0:34 and 0:37 and also seems to go out of her way to articulate the shooter's name...

Something is definitely off with this interview/the girl...

Just seems like the kind of body language you'd expect, from a dippy & naive teenage girl who's enjoying being in the limelight... I don't think it means she's lying.

Though, I do think her claim of a second shooter, was just an added opinion, in an attempt to keep the interviewer interested in her story for as long as possible.

The girl is high on drugs.

She's only semi-aware of her surroundings.

That's why she wasn't afraid. Everything is "surreal" to her.

Her responses are partly "dreamlike" and extremely "relaxed."
